    Freightliner ambulance conversion project.

Ah, well then you should be quite familiar! Took the wife and kids to New Orleans last year, mostly for the food (impressive!), but couldn't get over how bad that place stank! It's a good idea in such a busy tourist city to have garbage cans every 30' but sweet Jesus you need to empty and...

    Point Five Ambo Build

Do you remember that orange stripe thingy I had on my Ambo for a minute? Local graphics places around here wanted $800+ to reproduce that stripe with vinyl. Pat: Those hurricane graphics got me all excited for a minute. I figured I could show them to the wife as a negative for moving to...

Belafonte Reboot....Ambulance to 4x4 Camper Conversion

Hey Pat. Good news and bad news. I found that Wheeled Coach emblem you were after. That's the good news. That bad news is it's in 3 pieces. I tried to take a picture for you but somehow Photobucket ate the dang thing. Other than being in pieces it seems to be in decent shape. I...

Shoulda dropped down and took the southern route through Loo-zi-anna and Nahlins. The smell is quite impressive.

Hate to do it, but I am selling our 2003 E350 Ambulance Conversion

I've just about given up selling anything on Craig's. It seems every scammer and dirt bag on the planet spend their days cruising it and making honest people miserable. Buying isn't much better because it seems the bulk of sellers are flakey borderline nut cases. Good luck man. Too bad more...

Hate to do it, but I am selling our 2003 E350 Ambulance Conversion

Issues of the 6.0 aside, the problem with 7.3s is people that have them think they're made out of gold plated gold and demand a premium that's absolutely ridiculous. Clean, yet relatively high mileage OBS Fords with the 7.3 are routinely listed in the mid 20's. I'm relatively certain I could...

Overland Expo East '16 : Group Gear Swap (Asheville, NC)

I'd be interested enough to take a look at these and see if I can make them work the way I'd want them to work. Maybe PM me some contact info so I can find you when on site at the expo?

Overland Expo East '16 : Group Gear Swap (Asheville, NC)

Ok, at the risk of sounding dumber than a box of rocks, what are these for actually and how do they work? It's not painting a picture in my head.

Shoot, should have sent me a msg. I could've been convinced to park mine beside. You could have set up a "Me" - "Mini Me" display. :)

Hey Oz, I might have my wires crossed but did I read somewhere you're bringing that big beastie to expo east? Love to see it if so.

Anybody looking for a 8" UJOR converted van with new 6.0?

This doesn't really have anything to do with this van specifically, but I'm curious what goes so wrong on a 6.0 w/99k miles to warrant what I imagine would be an extremely expensive factory replacement vs fixing what you got? I've had 3 6.0 liters, 2 with pretty good problems and 1 (currently...

Belafonte Reboot....Ambulance to 4x4 Camper Conversion

Thanks. I had finally just bit the bullet and starting flipping through and found that post, but that was a fix (wrong) for different set of issues. That was general all around weird shifting patterns. Current issue was just hanging on to gears too long before shifting to the next, and not...

All it needs now is a funky hair-do and a bad spray tan and it'll be all set for Jersey. :)

Belafonte Reboot....Ambulance to 4x4 Camper Conversion

Think I'm having tranny issues again. Everything thing was fine, I parked for about an hour, and then when leaving I noticed. It's "mostly" ok but it seems like it's hanging on to gears way too long before it shifts, running the rpm up hirer than it needs to. Had a pretty big rain last night...

    Ambulance Conversion - New Modifications.

Had both. I'd choose the Maxxair. When it rains the Fantastic Fan has to close, unless you put a separate cover over it, which is usually pretty tall. The Maxxair can stay open even in a monsoon, isn't too tall even when fully open, and if needed can be closed if clearance is really an issue.

M101 gates, bows, and cover $ value?

N/S/E/W of Detroit? I'm in the Canton, OH area so Detroit is 4 hrs-ish, but prices are starting to get to the point I might be willing to do some driving. I think the trouble you fellas are running into is most guys with these trailers buy them to make some sort of camping/expo trailer so have...

There's a forum for those 4-sale posts. Might consider moving it over there.

Rad rover E-bike dude! Odds are fattie tires wouldn't fit whatever current bike you have anyway. I'm putting another set of my Booty-Fab Bob mounts on the drivers side door. Need to have someplace to hang my Expedition rated trasharoo thingy.
