    Favorite Sauces

Lexington Sauce - for Pulled Pork Lousy day here today - gray and damp. I am thinking of things related to warmer weather - like BBQ. A slow cooked pork shoulder with hickory smoke... pulled from the bone and served with Lexington sauce is amazing. Add a side of coleslaw, dill pickles, BBQ...

Someone design a shelf for the Maggiolina tents

Mattresses are a tight fit in the base. The legs could be flat 1/8" aluminum bar stock. Pretty simple, like the breakfast table in the earlier post, but full width, and high enough to leave deployed when sleeping. I use a simple cargo net that has hooks that slip into the open tops of the lift...

Someone design a shelf for the Maggiolina tents

Yes. You must isolate the drill bit from the fabric before drilling. The underlayment is laminated wood.

Someone design a shelf for the Maggiolina tents

:coffee: I am going to keep an eye on this thread. Design could be VERY simple - a pair of gate legs, hinged to fold flat.

Lockers for gravel / washboard (corrugations) experiences???

I have a factory locked 80. I have had VERY few times that I needed to engage the lockers. The FT 4WD handles just about everything that my travel can throw at it. It is nice to have the reserve capability of the lockers, tho'. Have you explored the idea of swapping the standard TLC diffs for...

Show me your maggioline roof tends...

All the newer Maggiolina and Columbus models have an elastic cargo net across the ceiling at the foot end of the tent. These will keep clothes and other bulky items up out of the way, but near to hand.

Which has the most cargo area? 80 or 60

I actually measured the cargo areas of both and the 60 has slightly more cargo area than the 80. I do not currently have the numbers, but the difference is only a couple of cubic feet.

ARB or other front bumper for SuperDuty

Lots of options. I think I do need frontal protection for traveling in Montana and other wildlife rich areas. My truck is pretty 'stock looking' and I don't want to add the redneck look. The ARB appeals to me, and one like the aluminum job that Martyn suggested might not weight down the front...

i opened up my eezi-awn for the first time since last oct

I think you might be better off to ask Ezi_Awn to send a replacement screen and take the tent and replacement screen to a tent maker (or awing maker) and have it repaired here. Shipping to SA and back is an expensive proposition. We have had customers who tore or damaged insect screens and now...

Jerry Cans vs. Replacement/Aux Fuel Tanks - Pros/Cons

I have a Aussie Long Ranger aux tank in my 80. There are many more 'pro's' than you listed... > Weight is down low which helps reduce COG issues > May be fitted with a parallel fuel system )pump, lines, etc., and switched from the dash. This is a reliability issue. > No fooling with cans that...

    Advice on buying a Ford

I bought a 2001 Ford F350 AT, CC, short bed early last year. It had 65,000 miles on the clock. I have driven it to 84,000 since then. No problems at all, just oil and filter changes - including removing the aftermarket air filter and replacing with a factory filter. I added both EGT and...

    Thule Truck racks

Yes, it will work just fine. A caution though -- if you want the tent to be 'below the top of the cab' check the possible amount of rear overhang. The OverCamp is 79" long and some short beds are shorter.
