    Jeep True North concept vehicle

I respectfully disagree. I think there is enough corporate co-dependency that Jeep could just build JEEPS and allow these spin off...things to fund the coffers without tarnishing the heritage and reputation of what made a jeep a Jeep. Just my humble opinion and means nothing in the great scheme...

    Rango.....1942 Willys MB

I like the idea for the hubs on the rear if you plan on towing this thing a lot. For simply trail duty I'd be more inclined to run drive slugs and maybe some "dummy" locking hub covers for show. That would eliminate the chance of blowing up a hub on the axle you use most. Then if you had a...

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Tomorrow...tomorrow... Got the rest of the needed stuff in the mail yesterday so tomorrow is back to game on.!. In the pic is the new input shaft for the BlackBox gear reduction unit. Most of the rest is stuff associated with the reverse shifter assembly for the BB and the Dana 300. Also a...

Lookin' good....Did you ever think of machining a set of grooves (inside and out) into the aluminum spacer to add an "O" ring? That may keep leaks away without needing to try silicon between the parts?

    Grand Wagoneer??

Repent heathen!!!!!!!! Sacrilege!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol! AMC motors are always under rated. Keep it, loose ALL the emission related crap (smog pump, vac lines, exhaust manifold tubes, cat, etc and start from there. Replace the intake with and aluminum one and shave about 40lbs off. Add a DUI dizzy...

    Grand Wagoneer??

If you look at the front differential cover you can tell. If its a CAD (that's laymen terms but not a "true" CAD) it will have a strange looking thing cast into the diff housing with vac tubes running to it. IIRC, the disconnect may have stopped in 83? Hurry with the pics...I'm DYING over...

    Grand Wagoneer??

On the back of the T-case, dead center, should be a round metal tag about 2"s in diameter. It will tell you what you have. If that's missing (not usually) you could try comparing it to stuff over on Novak's website..they have a pretty good knowledge base there. There are a few issues you may...

I have been researching the new 4 BT conversion for my JK

Normally I would agree with you on this...VWs are everywhere. But I just don't think HPA's kit is a great match for the heavy JKs. You can build them (expensive) to put out better numbers but at what cost to longevity? If not willing to risk the VM motor (AFAIK the 3.0 is new/different than the...
