Tradgrans..trailer build. Its now is a pop top, We have a tent and AC

okay to get a scale and help with the layout of stuff I built a luan side panel. Its just for scale planning at this point. There will be no wood in the frame or structure, just cabinets. There are two pics with the truck, they are taken at slightly different angles and it makes the trailer...

    #CampNCrawlTrailer

I am in the stage of starting to look at outside lights. I am thinking the kitchen light being white, all the others amber/yellow. As someone who severely undercooked some burgers once to a red headlamp I want the kitchen light white, but it will have its own switch.

Rust protection inside the frame, idea

The foam will over time separate ever so slightly as the metal expands and contracts from the sun hitting it. That will also cause air to get in to the gap and that air will have moisture, the moisture will condense on the cooler surface and not be able to get out as easily. If you have a good...

Rust protection inside the frame, idea

No, its a temp differential and condensation issue, moisture will get in and sit against the metal. unless you can 100% make sure its air tight it will cause rust.

Yet Another-Another M1102 trailer Build: Need help with power and water

First I am a master electrician and I used to do a lot of power on sailboats so I am a pretty good idea of what works. First I would save the money and go lifepo4, a 100 ah battery will have the same capacity as your 200 amp agm, and weight a 100 lbs less. Next applies to what ever battery you...

    Modifying my AT Chaser

Looks good, I will point out one thing. The stabilizes work much better when you put them at 45 degrees in the corners. When building my trailer I put them in like you did and tested em. the trailer swayed like no tomorrow when I stood on it. I went "no wonder every puts them at an angle". I...

    Swing arm suspension?

Well we can all agree to disagree or keep swinging our purses at each other. I went with torflex, because its not a bouncey stock trailer spring axle setup. Yes I could have gone to different springs and shocks, but that is not off the shelf, its semi custom. Yes I know parts are not hard to...

Sawtooth Unlimited - Off Road Pop Top Camper Trailer

Looking good Jess. I was wondering what you where going to with the bottom edge of the walls, thats why I am doing mine with the angle iron that is big enough for the whole panel to sit on. I really appreciate you and your build, it is giving me things to do and things not to do. And I dont...

Rust protection inside the frame, idea

If galvanizing was only a few hundred bucks I might do it, I dont know what it actually costs. If I thought I could get a complete coverage of the inside of the frame with a coating I might leave it open to drain, but I know I would not be able to get a complete coverage with out dipping the...

Rust protection inside the frame, idea

Okay my frame is all 2x3 rect tube. I have a few spots I have put 1/2" round tubes in thru the side of the rect tube to be able to use the frame to run wires. But I know tubes can ( will ) rust from the inside out ( I own an old tacoma ), my plan is to use the wire entrance tubes to spray...

My No-Weld Trailer project - Sort of

That trailer will be IED rated. As for raising it up bolt ( weld ) on some 2x3 rect tube where the axles go, that will lift you 2 inches.

M100 aftermarket axle for Toyota bolt pattern

Okay I found some lug nuts that work with toyota allow rims and 1/2 20 studs. They are just over half the cost for the currie lugs bolts, but sense you may need to buy lug nuts anyway they are less than half price.
