I will call Italy and talk to them if you like. Need to know what the specific question is, however.

I thought you said the Maggiolina could be left out in the snow?

Thank you all. I should have just said "NO!" when she started to tell me that I needed the H1N1 vaccine. Had a similar, but milder, reaction a couple of years ago.I hope what I have is not contagious.

    Dual Battery System Management Recommendations?

When I built my FJ60 I designed the dual battery system around the Blue Sea battery controller, and it was excellent. We are currently preparing a similar system for the 80, but will use the National Luna kit. It seems to have all the right stuff, and is install ready.

I thought you said the Maggiolina could be left out in the snow?

Jason Believe it or not, I got a swine flu shot earlier this week - and I have a nasty flu that started right afterwards. SO I did not get to the warehouse. I will be going there tomorrow, and will check for you.

    Maggiolina Reflective winter hood

The Winter Hood for the Maggiolina is a light, tightly woven nylon fabric with a resin bonded aluminum coating - sort of like a Space Blanket. It can be left in place when the tent is stowed, as it is very thin - but tough. The 4X4 ladder extends out to over 100 inches. The only vehicle that we...

I thought you said the Maggiolina could be left out in the snow?

Rob - I don't want to speculate on what happened. But I will say that the fiberglass in our tents is bonded with a special resin that will allow the tent to flex some under a load or impact. This is greatly reduces the chances of the fiberglass cracking in an impact or under load. You did say...

    The Lens Thread!

For general shooting with my Nikon D2X I use Nikon's 80-200 f2.8, a Nikon 35 -70 f2.8, a Nikon 60mm Macro (AF). But my favorite lens is my Nikon 24mm f2.0 fixed. A great piece of glass, but most useful on my F4 shooting film. 80-200 f2.8 35-70 f2.8 60mm AF Macro:

    1995 Ford F250 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel

Maybe, but after a rough trip, I would have to take it to the dealer for an alignment or the tires would be toasted in short order. Other than the front end issues, it was a great truck. It is still on the road 3 or 4 owners later.

Goodyear Announces a new variant of the MT/R

The E range Toyos can be run with variable pressure depending on load. I run mine at 55 psi when not towing, and at 65 psi towing my 4500 lb. Airstream. You can go to max pressure (80 psi) for big loads, No ride or wear problems with the lower inflation levels.

    1995 Ford F250 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel

I had the TTB front end in my '83 F250 HD diesel. I HATED that front end - nothing but alignment problems.

How would you build a simple yet capable FZJ80?

The 80 is a pretty good wheeler in stock trim. Just lose the running boards.

    Thoughts on Toyos...widths...

I am running 285/75/R16 LRE Toyo M55s on my F350 SD. Have about 8K miles on them. They have performed very well on every surface - dry, wet, snowy, icy pavement, and on rocks and slick mud. No noticeable wear at this point. The do sing a bit, but not nearly the volume of the GY MT/Rs that I used...
