    Bronco Mothership

Dang, forgot I even had this thread until @01tundra liked something in it today. Nothing real huge but we have been rocking Rocko for over a year and 20k miles now. Modified Ford front splashguards to fit fit with the rock rails. I did end up getting JCR light brackets. The lights fit a...

    kenda kleever r/t 35 x 10.5 x 17 - 'tall-skinnys'

We put a lot of Kenda's on farm trucks, guys that have them seem to like them.

How the Bronco compares to a LC70/Prado; practically

The Bronco is available with up to 35" tires factory stock... but not with steel wheels for whatever that is worth. The Black Diamond you have pictured as pictured (without the Sasquatch package) will not have a front locker or sway bar disconnect. My wife has a Bronco, it is fine for what it...

    Mrs. 01Tundra's Bronco Badlands Build

Factory dome light situation is utterly pathetic... Nice to see it getting addressed.

    Gladiator - Good/Bad?

Nah, my carbed truck does fine by me. I have mulled a TBI conversion for hillclimbs/off camber and elevation changes. I haven't had an issue yet but I know there are situations where I will. Cold, dd duty, power, mpg... no complaints.

    Ineos Grenadier Sub Forum

Don't worry about it, ZF also makes tractor axles so it should all be good.

    INEOS Grenadier

They had better, nobody else will want to touch it until they go mainstream... which is extremely unlikely. I work at a CDJR dealer. We pass on offbreed stuff all the time if we feel it is too deep for us and will point you to the appropriate dealer.

They are kinda designed for it too.

The best route for engine replacement under warranty is dealer records. The dealer can tell the warranty center "we changed the oil and air filters at this many miles and on this date" and it is all cut and dry. The farther you get away from that the harder it is to prove anything. Come in...

Hemis like to eat cams, radiator support removes to allow beautiful access. Not super super common but not unheard of. Had a newer Cummins get a timing cover gasket a couple weeks ago, cab pull.

    Gladiator - Good/Bad?

Everything is in Flux, I thought it would get better when he went front facing but I think it actually got worse. I am 6-3 and can fit somewhat comfortably behind my wife in our Bronco, gladiators look similar for rear room. I am going to keep my F-150 for awhile, he would be like 8 before I...

    Gladiator - Good/Bad?

I am already in a committed long term relationship with a standard cab 4wd, I dont need another lol.

    Gladiator - Good/Bad?

Agreed. Once we get past kids in car seats I wouldn't mind a Gladiator. I do wish they could poke a 5.7 in one though (if a 6.4 fits in a Wrangler come on...) I like the size and feel of them better than a fullsize for daily driving. Fullsizes keeping getting more "full".

    CB comparison

I run both on trips. My convoy runs GMRS on the road and on the trail. CB is very handy to lurk on channel 19, trucks talk back and forth about road hazards/conditions which is invaluable when passing thru large unfamiliar cities.

    Yup, here is ours.

    New Bronco

Just think, the ranger behind yours... that guy might have wanted a birthday picture too. Even rolled right past a camera. Only Broncos get the picture though. :sneaky:

The factory auxiliary switches in our Bronco are up there, really work pretty well. Don't need them every day but nice and in the open for when you do. Dome light switches are up there in both the Bronco and my F-150. No idea what Ineos is putting up there though. In the land of 8"+...

Converting to manual locking front hubs

Colorado twins, 4Runner, Taco, Ranger, Bronco... all pressed in. No idea how many bearings I put in my old F-150, the only cheapie was the one I put on it to kill the abs light right before I sold it it at just north of 200k. My "new" F-150 got a new one right after I got it at 106k. IMO unit...
