You can get a 20% discount from Campsaver for military, veteran, first responders and students. I didn't see that until I'd bought all my gear, but it's nice to know.

I might have to look into this. My temps were getting a bit high as well while out on a trail last weekend with my trailer.
I have a 9" straight blade fan lying around. Might have to see if it'll fit.
Now I'm kind of considering one of these...
I went all in with my commercial topper this time. You really need to move that air when it's hot. I'm using a Fan-Tastic fan with automatic open/close and thermostat. I wired it to a relay so it closes when the ignition is switched on. They also make a low profile version. I love the fan and...
Maybe not, but I usually equate it with cheap. It's just a label I avoid especially when purchasing something I expect quality and longevity from.
I wouldn't replace a critical vehicle part with one that had that label on it. I still look for "Made In Japan" whenever I buy an OEM Toyota part...
A few updates..
Before it started getting hot this year, I decided to tear out all the Reflectix and install 1" foam.
I also decided to try a new layout. Basically, ditching the modular bed idea and going for more open floor space. I'm not sure how it'll work out yet. Mostly, I lose a fair...
I posted up a set of JBA headers for the vvti 4.7 if anyone is interested. Kind of hoping for a local buyer presently.

See these links for more specific information from JBA...
I've found that Reflectix isn't a good insulator when used in this manner. It was designed to be used under roofs with an air gap between it and the shingles to trap and reflect solar heat. The 1" RMAX foam with the foil lining on both sides seems to work much better and isn't too messy to work...
I think I'm going to try and remove the glass from the frame and replace it with two 15" pieces that leave an opening in the middle. An actual slider isn't really needed. I'll seal the gap around the sliding section of the cab window. I really want the exhaust fan on the topper to also cool the...
