    Snow Peak Addiction

You can get a 20% discount from Campsaver for military, veteran, first responders and students. I didn't see that until I'd bought all my gear, but it's nice to know. http://www.campsaver.com/verify-with-idme

Dissent offroad 2016 Tacoma trd build.

Amazing. I really like seeing this crafted in aluminum. It's like watching a piece of art come together!

    Another Gen1 Tundra Thread

I might have to look into this. My temps were getting a bit high as well while out on a trail last weekend with my trailer. I have a 9" straight blade fan lying around. Might have to see if it'll fit. Now I'm kind of considering one of these...

Ventilation for sleeping - truck bed with cap

I went all in with my commercial topper this time. You really need to move that air when it's hot. I'm using a Fan-Tastic fan with automatic open/close and thermostat. I wired it to a relay so it closes when the ignition is switched on. They also make a low profile version. I love the fan and...

    2004 Tundra Adventure Cab - Build/Adventure Thread

Looks great man. How's that water dispenser working out on the jerry can? I'm thinking of adding one now.

Nice looking topper. It's pretty cool to see another commercial topper being built on a 1st gen Tundra.

    Snow Peak Addiction

Maybe not, but I usually equate it with cheap. It's just a label I avoid especially when purchasing something I expect quality and longevity from. I wouldn't replace a critical vehicle part with one that had that label on it. I still look for "Made In Japan" whenever I buy an OEM Toyota part...

    Trailscape's 06 Tundra

I decided I need a little more control over the vent fan so here's a digital thermostat. Had to make up a mounting bracket from some scrap aluminum.

    SOLD: 05-06 Tundra/Sequoia JBA Headers - Denver

Might also consider a trade for rear sway bar. I'm looking for a Hellwig 7700.

ARB / Engel Fridge Transit Slide Lock

For the ARB compatibility, is that only the older style? It would be nice to lose the tie down straps.

    Trailscape's 06 Tundra

A few updates.. Before it started getting hot this year, I decided to tear out all the Reflectix and install 1" foam. I also decided to try a new layout. Basically, ditching the modular bed idea and going for more open floor space. I'm not sure how it'll work out yet. Mostly, I lose a fair...

Exceptionally Cheap Raising Roof Slide-In Camper (like FWC Grandby shell); Portland

Wow, that is really cool.. If I weren't so far into building up my commercial topper I'd be down for a road trip.

Adventure Tool Company's (ATC) 4wd Provan Tiger adventures

I've found that Reflectix isn't a good insulator when used in this manner. It was designed to be used under roofs with an air gap between it and the shingles to trap and reflect solar heat. The 1" RMAX foam with the foil lining on both sides seems to work much better and isn't too messy to work...

    Trailscape's 06 Tundra

I think I'm going to try and remove the glass from the frame and replace it with two 15" pieces that leave an opening in the middle. An actual slider isn't really needed. I'll seal the gap around the sliding section of the cab window. I really want the exhaust fan on the topper to also cool the...
