Was down there this past weekend and they’ve sent out notices regarding high bear activity and Ive seen video from couple days ago of bears in the field leading up to Ouray. We stayed in a rooftop tent and felt fine in the area we were.

I pulled it 600 miles this past week and took the trailer off road and through Last Dollar Road and Alta Lakes Road in Telluride area to get to our spot. It rattles a small amount but nothing louder than my trailer chains or gear in the front of the trailer. Definitely made situating the trailer...
I guess I forgot to update with pics after install. Has been put to use and made maneuvering the trailer much easier once at the site and disconnecting from tow vehicle.
That what I did was install the rubber weather boot on the jeep and added the cutoff solenoid for the jeep and truck install even though my trailer bms cuts off drawing power when the vehicle is off.

Ebay as its shipped from Australia. Seems everything I want tends to come from there. I didnt like the options we had here in the US. I also have a surface mount one that could bolt to the bottom of a hitch or bumper but the wife’s jeep doesnt allow for that.

I installed anderson plug in the rear of my f150 and one in the rear of my wife’s grand cherokee. I went with 4gauge due to the distance on my truck.

I have two mounted on front of my trailer. One on each side of the front hood that has the maxtracks mounted. The propane holders are brackets mounted to the trailer with a base plate built into the bracket. It then has a strap that tightens across the front of the bottle. All behind the black...
I have a 2017 f150 fx4 supercrew, 3.5 ecoboost, 6” lift and 35s, max tow package (36 gal tank is nice), average 16+ mpg out here in CO. Towing my 3300lb offroad camper trailer I average 13.5mpg going through the mountain passes on trips. The EB will get up and go. Like someone mentioned, the...
Yep. The only thing I don’t like on my expensive trailer. Wish mine was getting here before the weekend so I install it and put it through the tests.

Or I guess your offroad trailer that has a gas grill mounted to it, slide out fridge, stove, spice rack, pantry and a rtt that you sleep in like myself lol.
First dispersed camping trip was last weekend and saw a black bear on the way out. That was in AZ. Living in CO, Id say my chances of...
Between meals for 2 people and dog food for 2 dogs, thats a big bag to send up to a tree. What do you do about cold foods? Pack ice in the bag you send up the tree? What about beer? Do bears like Coors Light? Am I supposed to send that up to?
I can see it now...following morning, wife asking...
Good to know. This would be the wife’s first trip out so didn’t want her too miserable. Figured since I was gone last week down in AZ for expo, probably should include her on the next trip out vs just me and the dog.

Yep. I decided to cancel our plans this coming weekend after this most recent storm. Don’t want to take the wife out when it’ll still be cold and snow on the ground and the dispersed camping places I wanted to go (within 2 hrs of Denver) will still be covered. Not too many other options I can...
What’s the collapsed length like shown in storage mode? My trailer has a different style jockey wheel that when stored is completely removed and stored on top of the tongue in front of the front box, but Im looking for a beefier wheel.
