One last shot of our camping spot outside Sedona, AZ
We left Sedona headed for Prescott. If you haven't done the drive up over the hill past Jerome, an old mining town, try to do it. The road is nice and twisty with lots of elevation changes, skinny going through Jerome but absolutley...
Java, it was a great spot.
So much so that we had seen this little rig the day before but when we got up this morning it was tucked in right by us. A stealth camper for sure. It was cold this morning when we went outside and there was frost covering everything including this rig.

Spent yesterday and last night on the red Rock trail west of Sedona.
Some shots of the day.
I was asked for more photos of how we live in the Cruiser day to day.
Here is a shot of Annie the night before.
It was cold outside so we retired to the inside for catching up with family back home...
Oz, not sure but up here in Sedona it was 26F last night but we were toasty warm in here.
Thanks Elcoyote, we are doing the Behind the Scenes tour at Taliesin West so that should be perfect.

The last few days we spent in Las Vegas with friends so no photos of that as I am sure everyone has seen enough photos of that. We were scheduled to camp at Fletcher Campground on Mount Charleston on Tuesday night but an avalanche in Kyle Canyon next door and some ridiculous winds meant we...
I forgot a small alteration we did at ITB as well. Recently we had some Overland friends Alex and Ans visit us. While we were visiting I mentioned that one time our door was whistling when it was very windy from a certain direction. Alex showed me what they did to counteract the whistling...
Annie and i left home on Monday Feb 13th for a trip of anywhere from 4-6 weeks. We are thinking 6 but who knows.
After a quick stop to visit my parents in Medicine Hat AB we were off to ITB to have some work done on the camper.
We figured that having two thermostats in the camper, one in the...
Ah Mike, you're killing me!
I have to get to KOH next year.
I have been checking the race schedule for the next month and I can't see anything happening. We leave tomorrow for AZ and CA and would love to go watch some desert racing. Any thoughts?

Bam, it worked so easy it was unreal. That and we had a nice drive to AZ in the process and are still friends with the people that bought our hardtop.

BAM2413, when we purchased out Habitat a couple years ago we did the following. Realizing that in MN most Jeeps are probably sold WITH the hardtop. In southern CA many Jeeps are probably sold with a soft top so hardtops for sale by themselves go at a premium. We drove from Saskatchewan to...
I can't believe I missed most of the build so far. I checked it out when we first talked but forgot to hit subscribed. Problem rectified now! You have made a lot of progress in a short time. It looks great. Annie and I will be up through your area end of March and I would love to see the...
Ya, our fresh tank is under the bed so absolutely no issue there. Our grey tank has a recirculating heat loop, the same as our main heater, that encases it so no worries there either. My main concern is actually small things like the grey water dump valve but we will just have to plan...
Bigskypilot, that is hopefully our plan. We are more open spaces kind of travelers so our hope is to settle into an area for a couple weeks and literally exhaust our options before moving on. We also like a good pub burger and independent coffee shop so don't mind getting urban for a few days...
Thanks Sheller73. It is really kicking the crap out of our 5 year plan though, LOL.
At the beginning of this planning we thought we would go away for up to 4 or 5 months at a time and just ramble about. Now it seems our trips will be more along the lines of 4-6 weeks. All good though.
