I have heard the 3.0eb rumored for the warthog/Raptor, never the 3.5.

Factory was 3.31 with dinky 235/75-16's. I regeared it to 3.73 and it runs 32's beautifully which is close to a factory optional combination.

Not really, the overdrive in my F-150's 4R70W (4spd) is .67, the 10R60 (10spd) in the new Bronco .63.

+ torque converter mayhem... an automatic is much less picky about it for crawling than a manual.

LOL. I didn't catch it defaults to manual. Automatic is 4.46. Kinda what I thought. It's weird they are fixated on deep gearing all the sudden.

Badlands comes standard with 4.70 gears with the automatic and rolls on 33's. Sasquatch comes also comes with 4.70's but 35's. So there would be a slight difference to be felt for the engine in addition to a wider and heavier tire/rim, they didn't counter the bigger tires with a different gear...

Yup, your back board is giving up. The four bolts along the back should be aligned. I am slowing replacing the boards in my 072S (basically a longer 060S) if you have questions. I have learned a lot and have taken a lot of pics, I want to post a thing on it once I get it done.
