    New Bronco

It's a slow trickle for new models, the Ranger was painfully slow when it came out too. One thing I thought of the other day, if we keep getting bumped back Ford may start allowing plan pricing (they will eventually) That is a Sport and they are everywhere.

Mainly big lifted 3/4 tons here that don't even pretend to be useful for anything.

    Flat Tire External Sidewall Repair?

I was thinking the same thing. I run tubes in old radial car tires on my old farm equipment. Disk, shredder, plows etc. Despite what the directions say at least for low speed stuff it works great. Never tried a boot though, usually the shredder does too good of a job of killing tires.

Uh, Big Bend is second from the cheapest package... And dealer stock has to be soft top unless they are orphaned orders. The V6 isn't a whole lot more, $1800 in B&P IIRC.

If it is a mannequin the dealer has to sit on them for demos until they get so many miles or have been at the dealer for so many months. If it was someone's order they backed out on it is open season.

1991 Ford Ranger (4x4 STX) build ideas?

Nice truck! First things first when your toys are this old you need to baseline them, I don't care whose badge is on the grille. Check things like wheel bearings, steering, u-joints, ball joints, all the fluids, belts, hoses etc. If you take the front axle apart I highly suggest researching...

Supposedly our dealer has a demo model en route, I can't wait to actually see one in real life.

They have been delivering them. The Sports are a neat little car and are pretty capable for what they are.

Sounds like ford needs to fix their site. https://www.ford.com/suvs/bronco/models/bronco-badlands/

I am pretty sure you can get the trail turn assist with the 2.3, it is automatic only though. https://fordauthority.com/2020/08/2021-bronco-demonstrates-its-trail-turn-assist-feature-video/

Scratched suspension stuff is pretty minor for offroading.

We are staying the course for a hardtop hoping there is going to be a mass exodus with everybody switching to softtop.

    1984 Skamper

The ends were pretty soggy but most of it was perfect. Puttyknife worked great to get the skin off. I went around the camper, LH side board looks fine as does the front one. RH is soft and I can almost pull it apart in places so I will replace it too. Going to hold off on the front...

    1984 Skamper

A quick update, using my oscillating cutter I cut along the top of the channel and removed the inside half of the ply wood above that. Then I went back and made a few passes between the two sheets of plywood to get some wiggle roof for the bottom if the board stuck in the channel. From...

Why does no one use a high truck shell?

For me it is kind of a double edged sword. Longbeds are not common so the market is flooded with toppers for a 6' bed, your normal std cab shortbox Rangers and extended cab Rangers both use the same bed/topper so that stuff grows on trees. So the pool for longbed stuff is small. Which also...

Why does no one use a high truck shell?

They look goofy but the extra height is nice. When I mentioned I had snagged one and that I could use help setting it on my younger brother commented "I didn't think you were that old" I didn't set out to get one but when one popped up after 6 months of searching although it was a bit goofy...

Coleman Addiction.....for pesants. ha ha ha!

Yeah, someone else asked a few days before I searched and the only suggestion was to try to paint it OD and then clear coat it. https://colemancollectorsforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=25492 I have a while to ponder it anyway. I have a heck of a time with bugs, mainly in lanterns. I usually...

Coleman Addiction.....for pesants. ha ha ha!

Kinda what I thought. Aside from the funnel its all there, current plan is to see if I can get it to run and maybe make it green again. It has some dings so it will never be a show piece... but I have been looking for one for two years. Trying to match the funky green is proving more...

Coleman Addiction.....for pesants. ha ha ha!

It is a double edged sword, fuel dries out and the residue can plug the fuel and air tube. I have ran into that with lanterns. Filling the fount with acetone for awhile will get them running although with a pulse. More run time/fuel ran thru will get that to go away after awhile. Biggest...
