one advantage to an Ambulance as a camper is the Ambo Box is likely to be considered "passenger compatible" area. Technically many motorhomes etc. are not though they are used as if they are. Keeping it nicely passenger safety friendly is something to keep in mind. Tis one advantage of seats...

Why not semi permanent mount? as in have it where you can affix solid for travel and ways to tilt fore, aft or port, starboard for when parked. Could see a tiny liner actuator underneath with a ball head that sits in a ball socket beneath panel. On panel at each corner also have ball and socket...

Thanx for the info. Many rigs as you know from here in Expo Portal that have boxes on back use some flex mount from as complicated as pivots at Stern, middle and Bow too solid mounts on one end and a bit of spring mounting on the other. Was just curious of the ambulance industry did similar.

Ive got an HP Envo tablet with Win 7 and 2meg? ram. Is there any potential to use this? Tried using it for work but it did not have enough RAM to run the complicated spreadsheets I was using. I've got no qualms with upgrading it to Win. 10 or junking that OS and going to Linux if that would help.

do an Experement and try a small bottle of the "no rinse", some wipes. Maybe along with a low % solution of Isoproply for super sweat areas. Finish off with little lotion and see if that works. I bet it will even if your salty and sweaty. If it works... your good to go. saved tons of money and...

Might be better to fill the lip with something... be it braze it full or epoxy or even strips of rubber ripped from trucker tire peices on side of the Interstates.
