You sure about that toe? My shop told me total toe for an '03 superduty axle was zero. It drove like crap.. Chris told me around .120, which jives with about what I figured. I had them set it at .125 total and it was golden. What you're showing there is anywhere from about .200 toe out to...
Bike Friday: Jeezus H! Before I spent that kind of money on a bike I'd put that money in an account, and a Bat Signal on my roof. I doubt even he charges that much for a roadside rescue.
I wouldn't even go that route. I'm guessing the "light" front left damage is probably not as light as it's made out since its about the worst view of all the pics, and there's no title for some reason. And no roof. Somebody started to part it out. The only way I'd go at it would be as a...
Yes, for the asking price of the ambo that won't start. I don't know what to tell you to ask. Pricing in your area may be different than mine. What I would suggest though is at the very least get a starter in it. That's about as simple a job as it gets and most folks are going to be put...
Not sure I'd do that. Dually rims are usually for a pretty narrow tire and they have a massive backspace/offset. Just running the outside single would put a pretty heavy load on the wheel bearings back there.
Couple realistic things to do.....
Run a regular rim out back with a wider tire...
I'm not sure I'd call that mess up there in #38 a suspension. I think the 80's called and wants it's truck back, along with whatever Billy Bob is obviously still stuck in them.
My opinion on the tires.... I like things to be in proportion. I hate seeing lifted trucks with dinky-*** tires on them. I hate seeing trucks with tires so huge they have to have a 24" lift to get the wheel wells above the tires cause there's no way in hell the tire would fit in the wheel...
I dont know man. This sounds a bit like voodoo technology to me and I have to go with Baja on this one. Unless there's hard data to back this up, it goes right up there with the ButtDyno.
No interest in pulling it. I was just wondering if I UNBOLTED it, if I could wiggle it around enough to get that gasket R&Rd. Mine is just a bit on the shabby side.
Based on your experience, do you think if I loosened/pulled the cab mounts on my ambo, and unbolted the cab from the box, I'd get enough wiggle room to change that rubber gasket between them? Between the cab and box if that wasn't clear.
How long does it generally take? Just curious. I know on the trucks a big deal is always made about pulling the cabs to do work. My diesel mech said of his tools are out and on hand he can have the cab on a 6.4 off in an hour, 2 hours for the 6.0.
