I'm looking at maybe replacing the driver side window with a solid panel to install a fan into, but other than that there's just not enough surface area on the topper sides.
The radiator fan showed up fast and I can tell you it is fairly loud. I think I'd compare it to a vacuum. I'm trying to run it in different locations to test for ideal exhaust/air exchange.
I may just get the fantastic fan and cut a big hole in the roof of my topper.. I'm a little worried about...
For the price of the duraflame log, it's still relatively cheaper and easier to just hit a local store and grab a bundle of firewood whenever you reach a new state. Once you plan on leaving said state, just leave any extra in the campsite for the next guy. I haven't really had any issue finding...
I had a can back on mine for a while.. The frame was pretty stout, but it was old and the canvas didn't hold up well. I was going to use it to run a roof rack, but wound up giving it away after picking up a topper.
I use one of these..

My trailer isn't really anything fancy, but I use it as my base camp set up and this little lock adds some peace of mind.
I bought a cheap 72" foam pad and matching cover from Home depot and used it for a month long trip. For 40 bucks, it works great.

I ordered one of these radiator fans, I'll let you know on the noise. I really just want to vent a lot of hot air quickly so this might be just what I need.

Can't believe I haven't tried this myself... Good idea and might work quite well.
I think I might just get one of these:

And a thermostat switch and rig something up..
Awesome, thanks. I figure a set of them with some grip tread on it should be good. As for using them, I think it's more peace of mind and one I'm glad to have in the event I do get ambitious.
Some nice upgrades here.. Giving me more ideas to go broke with.
Do those sliders happen to also work as a step bar? I kind of like having step bars, but I do want some sliders..
Been interested in some options for this myself, but I'm looking to put it in a fiberglass truck topper.
Maybe something like this could be made to work:

Seems like a good deal. It would be hard to find the trailer alone for close to that price.
Kind of what I have in mind for a setup but not settled on it yet. I'm curious though, what are the L x W dimensions of the trailer box now?
This was my crazy idea.. Kind of a work in progress like everything else.
I removed the seat and made this folding platform that bolts in using the same locations the seat had.
The original intention was a place to put my fridge, but that has since been relocated. It's due for a revision, but...
