Was your potential bumper scam a private sale issue, or is the Ironman USA website not safe to order from? Not asking for names or details, just making sure a legit company wasn't involved in that?
Rhino radios sells an aftermarket dash panel, but I dont know if it does anything for sound quality. I've seen some speaker upgrades done on our GXs but mostly keeping the stock amp & head unit in place.
Iron man sells rated recovery points for the 460, though I didnt see any comment on what angles you can pull at. I'm digging that small lift man... I never end up modding my vehicles, but I imagine if I did it would be that same pro cell lift, the iron man bumper & full underbody plates with a...
Further to Mr. Conroy's comment, I'm pleasantly surprised how many responses in this thread are old school all steel weapons like pump shotties & lever guns! Nothing wrong with a good metal pistol either, though I do prefer mine to be a high capacity 9mm CZ75 over a 1911
Alien gear had some pretty cool velcro holster mounts when I was browsing the other day. I can totally see mounting one under the seat or dash to hold ccw in easy reach while driving.
There are already aftermarket options for expedition, but I'm not sure they will ever reach the scale of LC's aftermarket support. Its for the same reason though, length of ownership. If you plan to keep a car the typical American way of 5-7 years or less, probably go Ford. If you plan to keep...
I'm kinda biased but...nobody likes Lexus GX or LX? Toyota reliability, v8 power, full time 4wd, etc with rover levels of luxury seems like a nobrainer?
@GHI I agree 100% that Scott has never & will never break a foreign law, but I never implied he did. The man has travelled through many foreign countries that outright ban firearms & he knows what he is doing. I am asking what you think he would have chosen to take on such a trip IF he were able...
So if Scott Brady, who started this thread, just did weeks in baja according to his g-wagen article on the home page, what does everyone think his truck gun of choice would have been? I doubt he will be able to say anything given the strict laws that exist in the disarmed crime-free utopia of...
I'll admit I was very geeked out about the Beretta Px4 rotating bolt system, I just never found any reviews that justified the complication of that system. Everybody says they're great guns, but...so are lots of other simpler systems. Plus I didnt need a decocker AND a safety in one switch.
I've always been a cz75 guy, this is my first polymer pistol ever. It doesnt feel as nice in the hand as my 75s do, but it's a lot better than some of the others I held. I was basically needing a rail & threaded barrel so I checked out the VP9 & PPQ, both felt nice but I wanted hammer fired, not...
