    Tractor Supply Synthetic Winch Line

I've been using the 'Tuff Stuff' brand winch line on my old flat fender for YEARS now with no issues. http://www.ebay.com/itm/GREY-92-X-1-2-SYNTHETIC-DYNEEMA-WINCH-ROPE-CABLE-WITH-BLACK-HOOK-ROCK-GUARD-/151609278329?hash=item234c9dff79&vxp=mtr Zero issues to be reported...

    Rango.....1942 Willys MB

It's made from painters tarps you can get at Home Depot. They are the plastic backed canvas versions. I made the 1st bikini top out of that material like 2-3 years ago and it was still going. For a cheap material to work out ideas with, I really like it. If I like this concept enough I will...

New Mopar Fender Flares and other cool stuff

I got to see those at EJS, they looked like a very nice part! I would suspect they would let someone run a 40" tire with about 3" of lift you did a little tuning on arm length... The rockers guards could use a trim.... And I think there is a little extra room in the flare if you wanted...

    Rango.....1942 Willys MB

Some updates.... I made a 'top' for the old thing. The top is all modular. The doors and windjammer all roll up out of the way. It takes about 3 minutes to convert from the bikini top to a full enclosure. The air intake/filter was also relocated away from the front of the engine...

    Project: Doitall Dodge

Pretty much what he said. Mine was pretty much the same. There is a small clip on the end that you need to push IN to get the rod to come out. I used a very sharp pick and some light hammer taps.

Mine was pretty worn out, but it just 'popped' out with a little force and deformed the small retainer clip.

Thanks a lot. It's nice to see people still reading this thread. The ol' dodge just keeps going. I have been daily driving it since I put it together. Knock on wood, it has been one of the most reliable vehicles ever. My only real issue has been little stuff and getting fuel that has gelled...

    Onboard Air help....

I have the ARB twin in my old flat fender with a small tank. I left the pressure sensor in the stock location, works great.

    1984 Dodge W350 Crew Cab

Just depends on how much work you want to put in....or how you want it to look when your done. Sectioning all the fenders was a neat project. For 37s you could get away with just trimming/pushing the ends of the fenders a little bit.

    1984 Dodge W350 Crew Cab

I'd use the pressed centers if you can. They make for a much better wheel in the end. For backspacing, anything close to 4" should be fine. If you run too much the rear tire will rub the inside of the rear wheel tub ( with the narrower rear axle ).

    Easter Jeep Safari 2015?

I think it was about normal. I only ever go for the last part of the week so it was 'normal' for me :) It seemed like EJS in moab, lots of people, lots of stuff to look at, busy, met a lot of great people.

    Easter Jeep Safari 2015?

Informal FLAT FENDER FUN RUN on Friday during EJS.... I think we had 12-14 old Willys show up. I know we missed a few around town too. We ran The Pickle trail. What a GREAT day!

    Willys CJ3a Build!

Gonna be a tight fit unless you move the rear axle back a touch ( about 1/2-1") and/or lift it ( and maybe trim the wheel well opening )

Is there any expedition willys out there?

I'd go one step further and say the last of the M38's ( the military version of the cj3a). They had a D44 rear axle with front and rear power-lok options. If only they would have had a factory granny 4spd and overdrive....

    Project: Doitall Dodge

I spent a few hours rebuilding the clutch master cylinder mount again. The mount was torn/cracked where it meets the firewall. I got everything back in place and welded it up. After 300-350K now I don't really fault it. The clutch works so much better now. I am going to have to learn to drive it...
