    Schutt Industries - Xventure Owners

It is confirmed, by Schutt, that there is no provision or option for the kitchen to be on the passenger side. Or for the electrical to be on the opposite side.

    Schutt Industries - Xventure Owners

Questions for Schutt Industries : Can your X2 be had with the fridge compartment on passenger side and electric compartment on drivers side ? Can the X3 be had with the kitchen slide on passengers side and electric compartment on drivers side ? I know that it's an "offroad" trailer but we...

    Does anyone know.......

If anyone is going to make portal axle geared hubs for the new ZR2 ? Werewolf 4x4 makes them in Russia, so they probably won't be able to ship here because of the war in Ukraine but it sure would be nice if someone else made them. I am not sure but I think because the 2023 ZR2 Colorado has...

    Smoker - Electric or Charcoal?

We have an electric Mastercraft. Honestly, I used it 1x. I filled it up with chicken, sausage, brisket and pork. Turned out fabulous. Kids moved out and we don't eat much anymore..

    Charging Both Ways

Manual and automatic systems both have their pros and cons. On the system in our 19' ZR2 Colorado diesel, it is manual and can jump start myself. I have the truck battery and aux battery each on their own on/off switch, then to a off, battery 1, battery 2, or both, then to hd power block for...

    Sleeping bag options

I like a roomy bag. We have 2 of Cabelas canvas duct bags. We use sleeping pads, a Carhartt pet blanket, sleeping bag and a Pendleton Wool Camp blanket if needed. I still can't believe how warm that blanket is.

What's your favourite frying pan? Market Research

Mine is a 17" Lodge dual handle skillet. I can use it in the oven, on the gas bbq grill open or closed, over campfire, in campfire, on our "All American Grill" from the Made in America Store. Just today I cooked 18 sausages in it.

Who Still uses cast iron while traveling?

They do great at home. Not sure how they would do in a campfire ? I would think maybe they wouldn't recommend it because of the vast differences in temperature that a campfire can be/get to, but I am just speculating here. I am also sure that it has/can be done as long as you pay close attention...

Is it worth to invest an expensive portable solar generator for camping?

In my mind, there is lots of good advice on here. My mind also tells me that if you are serious about this and going to buy one, there are numerous things to consider before purchase, as it can be a huge investment depending on your current and future needs. Just some of those things are: Is...

    Converted Xpedition Stove

I think that's pretty friggin cool. Good for you for rescuing it from the state it was in. It's getting more and more difficult to do that with modern day gear.

Carrying extra gasoline with Outback and teardrop

https://www.airframesalaska.com/Liquid-Containment-Bag-p/5.2bag.htm You might want to check out aviation grade fuel bags. They use them a lot in Alaskan bush planes, where lives literally depend upon the quality of their gear. I'm thinking that they must be pretty durable because they don't use...

Who Still uses cast iron while traveling?

I just picked up the Lodge 9" mini wok and lid. Perfect for meals for 1 or 2. Looking forward to using it when camping. EDIT: JSYK, the cast iron lid for the 2 qt dutch oven (without legs and without bail handle) DOES NOT fit the wok. 2 qt Dutch oven lid is 8.5" in diameter & the 9" wok lid is...

Who Still uses cast iron while traveling?

We just picked up the Lodge 17" 2 handle skillet. Loving it so far. I was actually surprised that it was so smooth. Only one handle has a sharp edge on the inside of it. I have sanded smooth all our other Lodge cast iron and it needed it. Great now though.

    12 volt slow cooker

Lol, I agree. But if certain people get what they want, you will soon be severely limited as to what you can use to heat up your food or cook your food. Where I live, for some reason unbeknownst to me, the people in charge think they have the moral authority to tell us what engine is in your...

Lid for off brand 10.25" cast iron skillet.

I bought the Lodge 17" dual handle skillet for Christmas and needed a lid. I went to a restaurant supply store and looked around. They had none but said they could order one but if it doesn't fit, it's still mine. I said no way. I kept looking. Found 18" round serving trays, made from aluminum...

Anyone making ice in a 12v freezer with basic dual battery setup?

When we first got our ARB Classics, I tried one out as a freezer. The day was 90° & the evening was around 75°. I had a bunch of 32 oz water bottles about 65% full. I had a drinks only cooler and rotated them every day. Didn't want the kids in & out of fridge all day long. Trying to preserve the...

    Induction stoves

Check out Webstaurant.com . They have what you need. Just make sure your electrical supply can handle one. They suck some wattage. I have been thinking about a 120v, 1800w one for us. Having a 2000/4000 pure sine wave inverter and dual battery should work but I am not sure about start up watts...

    My vacuum sealer journey

So, the LEM MAX VAC 1000 is still working awesome. Also just picked up the 500 max vac for my mother. Haven't used it yet but will soon. I have to show her how. Now she will be able to make batches of food, portion it and freeze it. It will save her time and food in the long run.
