Damn! Where were you 3 months ago? I looked for one of these for a year before I bought a CVT. The CVT is nice, but that open roof looks fantastic! GLWS.
Johnston-congrats on the new Subie! Looks great. I'm Subie-less at the moment but I'm sure I'll have another. What is the center diff-lock you speak of? I bet you can maintain 25mpg unless you're mostly city.
I have a Scan Gage 2 that I move between my FZJ80 and Subaru-powered Syncro. Super-easy to move. To get some of the gage features to work (like MPH and MPG) you have to take a few minutes to make some adjustments. Otherwise, all code reading features work seamlessly.
Seems like the promotions I've seen lately excluded the ST/Maxx. I got $1400 out the door for five here in Chaffee county. Online would have been about $100 cheaper, but I value the things my city, county and state governments provide.
One of the many joys of living in the high country is no emissions inspections, so just have to adhere to the 25 year rule, which is based on date of manufacture. So 1990s manufactured in late 89 will be eligible soon. I guess an 89 would be importable now. Hmmm.
Bump for price drop $675. Will consider delivery in/near Colorado. I needed a larger rack. I went with a Frontrunner. The quality of the ARB is far superior - especially the mounting brackets.
Jim - welcome to the neighborhood! Yes, they do have a big boneyard. All kinds of 40s, 55s, 60s, a few 80s and some pickups. They definitely need to up their web game - that website looks like it is from 1995.
