I'm having a custom roof rack for my 100 series LC built. I found a RTT I want,but it will hang of the rear of the roof rack by about 4". Is this a problem I need to worry about? Or should I contact the rack builder and ask him to modify the rack to fit?

That's the plan right now, except for instead of using an extension cord, I'm going to use a long 12v cord.

When I tent camp, I keep a deep cycle battery near my cot and run a 12v plug from it. I don't really want to lug a battery up into a RTT.
