Some quick pics of a short spring break camping trip w my kids and GF, along w my mother in her own OVRLND camper. First few are from SE AZ, near Clifton:
Second few are from a CG at an old CCC work camp from the 30s. Water levels were too high and too fast to do any fly fishing, and the...
Do you happen to have any pics of the propane bottle cabinet you built? Looking at installing a propex in my OVRLND and saw your mention of this in another thread.
Give Jay a call at OVRLND Campers here in Flagstaff. They build all aluminum shell pop-ups and could likely figure out a solution for you.
As an aside, solid work you do for our fisheries! I'm headed to NM this weekend for some Gilas, and hope to work w some TU people later in the summer on...
Raise the rear portion first, then the front. Also use is in wedge formation if just doing a quick lunch or something like that.
You can check out some of the pics in the BBJ build thread.
I had Jay and his crew run the wires from the top to the back end of the camper. They come through the gland at the forward driver side, run along the roof to the rear driver side, run along the lift panel, and down to the tailgate.
Good looking truck and some solid fish you landed there. I'm partial to the Tundra in general, and youve got a decent build going.
Pretty much all my outings are based on where I can fly fish, and am planning on a WY trip this summer to complete their Cutt Slam.
Wow...never heard of that term and went down a brief rabbit hole on it. So I understand, a higher speed rating means less temp, which translates to better MPG?
Very good point. One of the reasons I went w the Coopers was durability and toughness of the carcass in general, but the trade is the weight and as evidenced by the MPG differences, the economy of them. I may switch it up when they wear out for a smaller tire or take a look at other brands. I'd...
I went w the 4.88s after doing a bunch of different reading. I may go to a slightly smaller tire in the future and still wanted the gearing for towing ability. With the spot I want to get in to for fly fishing, a full size rig isnt always best, so looking at quads for that.
ECGS had everything...
Well, after over 2 months of waiting for some sort of confirmation from Nitro on the gears and LSD I placed an order for, I was getting nothing back communication wise. Finally tracked someone down through their parent company, DPI Offroad, and when the couldnt provide an order status, I went...
Verdict is that the vehicle has not spontaneously crashed nor flipped over on the interstate.
I'm still enjoying the ride, and while if I take a turn too hard, the front end does dive a bit more on one side, I just dont take corners too hard and know the limits on the vehicle. With the +2' of...
I've had ARB front on several vehicles and one on the Tundra. I took a decent hit on it from someone turning across a few lanes in to me, and it barely scratched the ARB, but opened their vehicle up like a tin of fish.
