Post pictures of your Land Rover.

Why so many pictures of a lifted Ford? Are you quite certain that Land Rover is a "Defender" .... ? ;)

Toyota 4x4 motorhome, living full-time in Alaska: winter advice...

Great blog. I love what you've done inside and that Kimberly wood stove is a great find. I have a few ideas for it already. I have to ask though, if you wouldn't mind speaking more correctly regarding people "using the bathroom"....at non-campground overnight spots. The wording and obvious...

    2015 Sprinter 4x4 build begins

Makes sense on the insulation for best efficiency later on. For 3500 single, there is that option as a "super single" but not in combination with "4x4". Nor is it totally without other concessions such as still encroaching into the cargo floor area by about 1/2 as much as the standard single...

    2015 Sprinter 4x4 build begins

Regarding the A/C, would you expect the passenger version with 2 units to do perfectly fine? Have you considered adding a 2nd, possibly better, A/C unit? More importantly, but probably easier to remedy, what exactly do you mean by "doesn't handle a load" ? I'm expecting this is due to your...

LR3 load range E tires; what pressure

Don, I cannot see how 20 psi up front is enough. At least it seems way to soft on my lr3. What's on the front end of yours? I have the basic ARB/winch with synthetic line but pretty heavy batteries (140 lbs for the pair), several Rasta guards, etc. Well, the sliders ad about 100 lbs just to...

LR3 load range E tires; what pressure

temp across tread is nice idea but load is also an important part. It cannot be possible that the ideal psi for my heavily loaded lr3 on 275/65x18 bfg is the same as a stock lr3 on same tire size.

Looking at getting into a LR3...maybe

Torsion bars? on a land rover? I don't think so. What the hell happened to that key?! Take it directly to a Land Rover specialist to do a once-over checking everything. You need to know if anything is urgent or preventable. Looks good!

Reasonable price for a 100 series?

Yeah, what is that other thing, a Rav4? I noticed the factory rear diff lock, is that fairly rare-ish in the early 100 series?

    The ExPo 200 Series Registry

You just keep telling yourself that....it always starts with the tires, you must know that by now? ;)

    The ExPo 200 Series Registry

You east coasters are very spoiled. VA to NJ is a short afternoon stroll compared to western distances. Over the winter I was driving a 4.5 hour route, each way, twice a week sometimes just to be skiing vs working.

An airline rupture, isolation valves and changed bump stops

What do you mean to say? There are only like 4 LR3 owners active on discoweb so why would they give rats *** ? I'd expect that crowd to be all about steel springs anyway.

    100 Series Family Adventure Rig

You appear to have been off roading before, however you must have never had to "slide" along the full length of the bar right? I have several times and can only imagine how annoying the experience would have been with those "kick outs". If I were you I would just make the whole length that...

Does the land rover has the function of seat massage?

Cheaper and higher quality to hire a masseuse weekly

An airline rupture, isolation valves and changed bump stops

I love my lr3 and have memories for every nick, scuff, etc since first 2 miles but this thread just pisses me off that any of us have to worry about such nonsensical engineering shortfalls.

    LR3/4 Rear AC Line relocation

First? Plenty of people have done it themselves. They just aren't aware of this thread. There is for sure a DIY thread somewhere like on disco3uk or the land rover forums

    LR3/4 Rear AC Line relocation

I'm going to ask a tech about that. Would be great if total reroute were more DIY simple.

    LR3/4 Rear AC Line relocation

dsm02c, my box was full. open now. I didn't do the job myself but being part of the planning and seeing how it was done, they were basically pushed over and I think more or less tied off to stay put. the body metal seam has to be flattened though so be prepared with proper materials to cover...

Rover Warrior.... LR3 Build engagement pics

The motor could go on a mount on back of the jerry can or tire swing arm! ;)

Rover Warrior.... LR3 Build engagement pics

Congratulations on hitching ;) Can you get that boat on the roof or is it a towing deal? I've thought it would be cool to use a boat small and light enough for the roof that would still allow two people for small lake fishing.

Rover Warrior.... LR3 Build engagement pics

If I'd known about the foxwing back then I probably would have gone that route if there are full surround walls for it and a way to manage water.
