Both Ujoint and SMB use the tried and true leaf spring approach although Ujoint is now also offering a coil conversion kit. Ujoint sources truck axles and SMB specs a dynatrac prorock 60 on the front. SMB uses an arguably overkill Atlas transfer case and Ujoint prefers the NV271. A Quigley...
Being an avid mtn biker I've been following along on your mtbr thread. Give a holler if you need any beta on camping or rides around Flagstaff and Sedona.
I replaced mine at 55k when it started leaking. Not sure how you arrive at a 12 year lifespan? I would think some of it might depend on how well the coolant is maintained but personally I'm not a fan of plastic. Anyhow, it's all good. Not sure if there is really any cooling upgrade going with...
I'm all for OE parts on the 6.0 psd but not sure why you guys would recommend staying with a radiator with plastic end tanks when you can go with a decent all aluminum radiator? The OP did ask if there was a better aftermarket alternative. Carry on.

MPG's- Better/ worse/ Same? Dropped a little.
Power- Better/ worse/ Same? Moar power with quicker turbo spool up.
Various Temperatures- Better/ worse/ Same? EGTs were lowered ~150 F.
This was just one supporting mod to lower underhood temps and increase power and mileage along with an...
If your going to have the motor out to do studs I would consider replacing the wiring harness. It's likely pretty cooked with lots of brittle connectors. And maybe o-ring the heads.
my aluminess ladder is on the left (driver side). The only reason I would want or need it on the passenger side is my grill attaches to it thus making it closer to the table and kitchen. It would also be in the way of an awning on a RB.
Or, if you were a surfer and parked on the side of the...
I couldn't fabricate a rain gutter mount to my liking on my E350 van so this has got to go. This 50" curved straight bar is brand new. Retail is $700. Asking $350 shipped anywhere in the lower 48...
