I love my LR3! It's held up very well since I bought it in 2014 with 75k miles. Now at 110k. Simple things, like sitting on the rear tailgate that folds down,timeless good looks, fold down 2 rows of seats that reveal a cavern of storage space! It's rugged and still pretty luxurious!

My first thought was they didn't want fuel economy to be too high, so they added more weight! Other guesses were vibration dampeners.

Can confirm. I just learned how to replace an oxygen sensor based on it diagnosing a check engine light! Part cost me $70. Waaaaaaaaaaay more to have someone else do it!

Thanks for the thoughts y'all! I'm going to do the smart thing and ignore the problem for now...it doesn't seem to be leaking enough to replace the struts. It also doesn't seem to be dropping enough over night to be overly stressing the compressor. Maybe it's just that I can't pin it to one...
