This top came off a van already so my guess is that if your van already has a high top than Derek can convert it to a pop top. For this top, he had to trim off about 1/2 of the bottom of the top (where the old holes were). I believe on Derek's personal van he just filled in the holes.
Just got off the phone with Derek. The rear AC was not installed in these pics. He installed the vents in the rear pillar. Update tomorrow (hopefully from my camera)
If all goes smoothly shake down trip on saturday night at over 9k feet. Perfect testing weather :victory:
Just got back from CCV. Looks better in person. TONS of head room.
Showing will be available in various remote snowmobile locations througout Colorado.
1. Tundra to Tacoma = You are going to regret it 2. Seems like you can eliminate the Alaskan from your selection. That leaves you a only a few more choices before you realize the Tacoma is not fit for a camper without serious mods 3. Where is Mikey??
What I have found best is to start laying out your van in powerpoint. I downloaded the SMB DIY Kit to get the overall dimensions. PM Me your email address and I'll send you a blank layout
i was looking at mine and i think under the truck along the frame rail with a simple rv type isolator would work nicely.
There isn't much room in the engine bay. at least not in mine unless i want to fab up some fancy brackets.
If you have a crewmax you may be alble to fit them behind the back...
