Just a bump...

I wouldn't put more than 30 or 40 lbs on top of the drawer itself. I built a plywood platform that fits over it to hold heavier loads, and guess what? If you want the drawer, you can have that for free too! Don't have any plans to travel south any time soon (except Stockton area for work)...

I had these on a 2006 Tacoma, and they worked very well, especially for the price. Put about 15k on them, 90% pavement, 10% off-road and no problems.
