    94 Ram 350 Roadtrek camper van....can I convert it to 4x4?

Sometimes it's not about saving time, money and headaches. It's about building what you want. I am all for that.

    94 Ram 350 Roadtrek camper van....can I convert it to 4x4?

What is your budget? I own a fab shop in Tennessee and can do this for you. I’m booked in to January currently but I’m hiring and expanding

Basics of Auxiliary Lighting for the Off-road Adventure and Camping Rig

If there’s anything that’s overdone in this community, it’s lighting. Many people have and use FAR too much lighting.

    Por-15 opinions and Experiences

Good stuff for sure. Follow the directions. I’ve used it for years. I just did a 79 bronco frame for a customer. If you let it dry on your skin, it will be there a while.

Ditch the entire drivetrain for GM stuff. Pretty straightforward

There are lots of options for this. How much for two modules? I’m doing the same thing

    Manual Decompression Buttons

Because that little port could also pull air in on the intake stroke. If that little port had a little filter on it, then you should be fine.

    Havelock Wool Insulation

I’ve seen those adds. I would think that stuff would pack down and lose its effectiveness over time like regular fiberglass insulation does.

NPR 4wd conversion and camper build thread.

Yeah it’s hard to beat a Cummins. Tennessee doesn’t care what you do really. It currently has to be registered as a commercial vehicle but as soon as the camper box is mounted, it’s an RV. I believe at that point there’s supposed to be a visual confirmation by someone but they’re pretty lax.

I have a decent amount of room above where the shifter will be so I think I will be good. If necessary I think I can shorten the lever or make a rail shifter setup similar to a FWD cable shifted trans. The export of these parts makes sense. I called every single place I could find online and...

Yeah I think it’s a great product. I went with the color called dirtbag. Rolled on.

That one is water probably 75 gallons? The fuel is on the other side. 50ish gallons.

Me too. I'm pretty confident it will work, just not sure how "nicely" it will shift just yet. I almost bought a cabover cable shifter from cablecraft but decided on the stock unit since it bolts right in and I was able to find one. Cablecraft used to make an XY box for various transmissions but...

I finished coating the cab and doors this weekend. Monstaliner on the outside, hytech ceramic inside the doors plus inside and under the cab. Time to start hanging parts back on it. Also I started buying up all the parts to swap over to a an NV4500 manual transmission. No more computer...

Monstaliner is a great product. Pretty bulletproof and available in many many colors

    It's Bronc o clock

Agreed. The transmission could easily be hotter than the radiator. I always add a transmission cooler after the built in exchanger in the radiator.
