A good way to get a tight fight for bolts in a situation like that is to drill the holes undersized and then use a reamer to make the holes an exact fit or even a slight interference fit. Use bolts with a shoulder to avoid putting the threads in shear.
I like them. Seems like Ford has done their homework on what people want in a vehicle like that. They have all the bases covered from the wanna be sport model to the seriously equipped off roader. A diesel or a V8 option would be cool though too.
The wastegate actuator? No matter what is wrong, $3900 is a bunch of money for that. A very high end, high hp, custom turbo costs that much. You could probably find a turbo shop that could rebuild the entire thing including a new wastegate actuator for much less than that.
Probably but I’m more concerned with how he seems to think it’s ok to take money for a product and not deliver. Then 3 months of run around to finally be told that a cc chargeback needs to be done.
