Frankly if the system isn’t leaking it could 100% handle it. Once the system starts leaking is when problems start. Because the compressor has to run for a long time. Long run time= heat which kills the compressor.
Frankly I think most of the problem on the LR3’s and early sports has to do with suspension leaks and the air drier causing the compressor to run too long. And frankly changing a compressor isn’t that hard to do once you’ve done it once I could probably knock it out 20 minutes.
I hope they did a leak down test on those two troublesome cylinders. Even being a new engine there’s still the potential for valve or ring issues. Obviously that’s less likely than a injector or wiring issue but still a possibility. Having been around JLR products a long time I highly doubt a...
Honestly I’d love to see Land Rover be JLR’s only SUV/truck manufacturer and then have Jag do nothing but sports cars and maybe a ultra high end saloon car. I’d be pretty awesome if Jag did a mid engine supercar.
Frankly I think they should just have FFRR, RRS, D5, Defender. Then Jag should just have the Ftype and maybe a sedan. As well as not worrying so much about quantity and worry more about quality.
I’m a big fan of the Defenders in No Time To Die I also really like the blacked out Triumph 1200xe’s that are featured as well. The Bond girls ain’t bad either. Lol
It’s definitely a issue from the factory with that low of mileage.
I’m betting it’s an injector issue. I really wish they would’ve just stuck SCV6 or NA 5.0 V8 in it and called it a day. This vehicle does not need the growing pains of a new engine platform. Or heck even a eco boost. Smh
Yeah my parents LR4 has the Harmon Kardon Logic 7 system it rocks. I have the regular Harmon Kardon System in my LR3 which is also very good.
lift rods by themselves are dumb. It would be like sticking taller springs on a regular 4wd but not doing anything with the shocks. If they do strut...
That’s very similar to how I would spec one. I however would get the 18” alloys, center console, black roof and side square, and maybe the country pack.
I didn’t say it was a air pressure problem. Making the air spring taller is just like putting a taller coil spring on that has the same spring rate. But this is a shock travel problem, all of droop in the shock has been turned into up travel and it basically makes the cross link system useless...
They’re planning strut spacers which will make it not as harsh. With the 2” lift plus off road height you’re going way beyond the design limits of the struts for normal operation. Struts spacers will kill some of your up travel but it’ll make the suspension more compliant. Like I’ve said before...
