One big advantage the Defender has over the older modern LR’s even the last puma Defenders is the ability to be remotely diagnosed as long as you have a cell signal. I was also impressed it wasn’t in limp mode considering half the engine was misfiring.

Depends entirely on what fails. Frankly it’s no different than the old vehicle in that aspect.

That’s what I thought but I’ve been keeping an eye on the other models as well and Defender is definitely out selling them.

My dealer can’t keep them on the lot. Each time they get some in they’re all gone within a week.

Based off what I know of the cooling systems it should keep the vehicle operational albeit in limp mode more than likely. The original design of the LR bull bar was better in that it protected all the heat exchangers well were as the final design really only protects the main radiator leaving...

I’ve looked at the winch installation instructions and I can’t figure out how they irreparably damaged a wiring harnesses on the vehicle. Also the fact that their first winch didn’t work makes me think this is a dealer screw up. I mean what are the odds that a Warn Zeon 10S platinum just doesn’t...

It also means that we could see ARB air lockers in the future. As the Bronco and Range share this series axle as well.

Basically the wheel nuts are LR specific if you want to run the LR hub caps and they’re not cheap.

LR has been using Advantek axles for years. Pretty much all modern LR’s except Freelander/ LR2 and L322 have this series of axle. The LR3 for example has M200 up front and a M220 at the back.
