    Homebrew fridge/stove slide combo

Good job making your combination slide. We all appreciate the fact that we have to purchase or build product that are within our own budgets. It's difficult to run a comparison between the product you have built and compare it to what AT produces. We know our combo slide is expensive, and...

    Mods for towing horse trailer

I have a two horse Featherlite that I tow behind an F250 with the 7.3 diesel. It tows it fine but you know it's behind you. I wouldn't recommend you tow a trailer like this behind your rig. I always laugh when I look at the "featherlite" sticker on the trailer :-) The thing tows like it's made...

    AT Overland's new flatbed trailer

Sorry, but I have been unable to update our website with information on the AT Flatbed trailer. I'm having some issues with my computer and I'm unable to use the software I have for working on the website. I'll work on it as soon as the computer is running.

    AT Overland's new flatbed trailer

I'll have more info on our web site by early next week. Things have been so busy I haven't had a chance to do any updates. I know there is lots of dreaming as to how this flatbed trailer can be used, modified, adapted. For right now it's a flatbed. But please dream on and inspire us.

    Pulsing trailer lights

Some vehicles need to sense a resistance from the trailer lights for them to function, as LED's provide very little resistance the vehicle computer can't sense the trailer. Seems to occur most often with Mercedes and VW vehicles. Putco makes a resister to solve the turn signal issue.

    Flip Pac weight

With the FlipPac weighing 290 lb, and your additional camping gear, water etc you may be adding 500 lbs to the bed of your truck when fully loaded. We have found the Air Lift rear air bag system to work well with the Tacoma. It allows you to keep the truck level when it's just the FlipPac and...

    Washboard Roads

I'm still trying to decide if "Mint" or "Waxed" is best for tire repair :-)

    Washboard Roads

Slowing down can be a good approach, the case for speeding up can also be argued. No matter what speed you decide on going, lowering tire pressure off road reduces the potential for internal tire damage.

Trailer Hitch Wiring Conversion for 2001 G Help requested

Here is a video of how to wire up a 7 Pin RV plug. I believe you have separate turn signals on the G. You would also need to install a solid state converter on the vehicle side to combine the turn and brake light signals so they will work with the standard trailer wiring.

    Washboard Roads

Airing down is good both for the ride, the vehicle and the tires themselves. The exact tire pressure needed to produce the best effect is a little bit of trial and error and depends on the vehicle and tires. My Ford F250 normally runs 60-65 psi, on wash board I reduce the pressure to 30 psi to...

    Need solar controller help

Could be a polarity issue. Possibly the solar panel has the + & - reversed, or the panel is wired the wrong way round in the controller. A volt meter should be able to tell you if that's the case. What are you hooking the controller up to in your camper? You say you are hooking it up to a...

I wouldn't rely on the rear window for security. Shruk's suggestion may work better for you.

flip pac won't fit on tacoma

The tailgate seal should still fit. If not you can either use longer rubber seal or change the extrusion. It's all possible, we've had to do it numerous times.

flip pac won't fit on tacoma

Don't worry there are solutions. The easiest thing to do is to pick up some 1" x 6" Trek "plastic wood" from Home Depot. Place it on the top of your bed rail place the FlipPac on top of the Trek. Drill through the shell, Trek, and bed rail in three places along each side, and a couple of...

    Trailer Wiring Help

Someone posted a similar problem and the suggestions were "Check the bed extension interlock switch. The metal bracket that press this switch when the bed is deployed bends sometimes causing the lights and the heater not to work." "I have a 2000 Fleetwood motorhome I bought used and when I...
