    New Chaser Kitchen

Just found this post. I can confirm we are working on a kitchen set up that will work with almost any trailer. It has been in the works for sometime now. We are building the first one for a customer right now and so far it's coming out wonderfully. We still have some finishing touches to...

    Kayaking in Prescott

I was out kayaking with my daughter on Watson Lake yesterday. We took the two dogs and had a blast. The City of Prescott owns the park, and parking is $2.00. They rent kayaks at the lake from the main boat launch, single kayaks $15 for the first hour $10 every hour after. If you rent else where...

Don't forget the slide it has to sit on, that adds at least an inch.

Fiamma awnings. Now is the time to buy

It's funny that over the years if we were trying a new product, or had come up with a new design. and wanted to see if would handle real world conditions in their harshest form we'd always give one to spressomon to see how tough it was. spressomon really "uses" his equipment, and if there is a...

The good news is the lid to the main box can be lifted up with the tent deployed or closed.

    How important is color?

There is a select group of people who need black vehicles, if your not in this group stay well away from this color. Not only does it show every spec of dirt and finger print, you'll need welding gloves to stop burning yourself every time you touch it. If you are going to mount a tent on a roof...

    Ursa Minor/E-Camper Jeep Camper?

Wade, that's correct. The early adopters help us fund the R&D needed for this project. In return you are all getting a smoking deal on the product. I think it's going to work out for all of us.

Standing Tub for Camping hot shower?

When I shower at the shop with a Zodi shower I stand in a action packer style container. It gathers the vast majority of the water. I pour it down the toilet, mop the floor and I'm done.

    Ursa Minor/E-Camper Jeep Camper?

Gabe, no slight intended in regard to SoCal's contributions to this project, people seemed confused enough with the operation and adding the work you have done in designing the interior and CNC work seemed likely to muddle it more. I was trying to confine my comments to the shell and tent.

    Advantages of Front-Mounted Ice Chest

As mentioned the tongue is not an ideal place for anything you don't want to get dirty. But trailers are like back packs, no matter how large or small they are they are always full. So it may be just a matter of space, and deciding what do I put on the tongue that is fairly impervious to damage...

    Springbar: Made in America?

Springbar uses a Sunforger cotton canvas. I would imagine that they source it from where ever it's available. With the economy the way it is right now many companies are not holding stock, and will only manufacturer either when they have enough orders or when you order in volume. It makes life...

It's a joint venture between Adventure Trailers, UMV, and Nemo. Each company brings to the table crucial skills. Adventure Trailers: concept, design, prototype testing, QC, marketing and sales, tent material, storage, vehicle modifications. UMV: Fabrication and engineering. Nemo: Tent building.

    Eezi-Awn Globetrotter ladder attachment

Eezi Awn make wider ladders for the US market, seems as a nation Americans are adverse to narrow ladders :) The holes in the tent are for the standard "rest of the world" ladders and as seen the holes don't match up. Initially we saw this as an issue until we realized that the ladder works best...

    Adventure Trailers Europe

My advice would be to stay away from the "Flexride" style of axles. They are not repairable in the field and produce a very bumpy ride off road. If you are only using the trailer on road they would be fine.

    Need a good jockey wheel

Bill, the wheel you have doesn't have a very large fulcrum from the pivot point to the center of the wheel. If you look at the one Bunduguy is using the long fulcrum allows for ease of turning. The other issue is that the wheel is very narrow which increases the psi on it, the wheel creating...

Fiamma awnings. Now is the time to buy

Working on that right now. The variable is the mounting height of the awning, basically all the walls will have the same basic design but the lengths will differ based on how high the awning is mounted above the ground.

The folks that sell the Flip Pac

I totally understand your frustration and I'm glad you have decided to hang in there. As of today your shell has been made and they have to hang the lid, attach the tent etc. to get it complete. Since I found out about the delays I have been advising customers of longer delivery times. The...

12v or 110 for Engel Fridge

What Gabe said, plus I think you'd be taking the 110 volt AC and having it internally converted to 12vdc by the fridge. Double loss of efficiency. I've always recommended the fridges to be run off 12 volt. Lots of people cool their fridges down prior to a trip by plugging them into 110 vac at...
