I'm sure but how is it mechanically any different from the 08 G55? From what I've seen no significant changes on the G55, all are on the G550 with the new 7 spd trans, engine, brakes I think, and dual side exhaust.

I don't know how they differ from the ones in my lr3 or in our audi or the touareg we had but if you did roll - over, it might not be too bad to have them work for you. Seeing as they are designed for extreme inclines of all angles, I seriously doubt they would deploy just screwing around off...

That's what the depth of field scale is for on slr's. Zooming in using live view is only going to show you what is in focus wide open and not very sharp due to lack of lcd clarity. You can try depth of field preview though.

What years are "bad" in G500/G55 in the US? So far I have read and heard from a MB tech that 02 worse, 03 less bad, and so on with 04 being not so bad, etc. I'm looking at 04 G55 for the naturally aspirated but higher hp motor and 04 had the heated windscreen which is nice on winter trips but...
