Why you NEED a cabover truck

I recently had a conversation with a mate of mine who was interested in buying a “new to him” SUV for daily driver, hauling kids, mountain biking, camping and road trips, going to the home store, etc. He was looking at trucks and SUV's that were 2-3 years old, so as not to take that huge hit on...

GOVE Global Overland Vehicle Economical build.

I have been through this debate many many times with my self and friends and on forums, etc.. I have concluded that for me, a small tow rig (FG sized) with a small fifth wheel toyhauler (24' floor) is the way to go for North American travel and here's why: The trailer can be used as a base camp...

    Mitsu Fuso Camper examples

Never understood why people think a very flexible frame is "good" or "cool". It is the JOB of the springs, coils, dampers, airbags or leaves to articulate and move and sway to keep the load relatively level and the tires in contact with the ground. Contrast this with a modern family sedan or...

New member from Norway, soon to have a new truck!

the simple solution to cleaner emissions with a diesel engine is to ad in an HHO system. The only "additive" is distilled water and the introduction of "brown's gas" into the system results in less particulate matter and NOx, as well as creating a more complete combustion. This was proven over...

    The Dirt Lab

I would be concerned about this... that motor is a raging POS, but the issues are known and "fixable". Whether you leave the states or not, they need to be addressed.... like before you leave your driveway or you may find yourself stranded. Cool base, looking forward to progress.

    New GXV Fuso based vehicle

Renee confirmed they dont care about the platform on which the box is built... SO, if you are concerned about emissions or lack of power or lack of low range, etc.. just take them another truck and have that box built on to it... Would save you a ton of $$$ too.. At that point, I may shy away...

New member from Norway, soon to have a new truck!

8 - 12 MPG (US) seems much more realistic with that truck.... I was wondering about the 20's and 30's for MPG, even imperial.... If its that good, I need an Atego quick ;-)
