FS: AEV 2.5 XT Suspension Lift Kit for Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JK 4-door - Socal $600

Let me know. I should be around all weekend. My best friend is visiting my family. So we'll be playing host around Santa Monica. I'm selling because I switched to the AEV 3.5 Lift. The 2.5 was great and a huge improvement over stock or Teraflex.

FS: AEV 2.5 XT Suspension Lift Kit for Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JK 4-door - Socal $600

Probably would work. It'd just be a little taller. Like 3" lift. I wish they'd make a heavier duty lift for the 4 doors.

FS: AEV 3.5 RS Lift for 4-Door JKU - Socal - $600 OBO

FS: AEV 3.5 RS Lift for 4-Door JKU - Socal - $700 Local pickup only, unless you want to pay for shipping. I have the all of the boxes for this, but it's about 6 large heavy boxes. So probably about $200 to ship. I'd like the buyer to see the condition in person.

FS: AEV 3.5 RS Lift for 4-Door JKU - Socal - $600 OBO

Selling a used AEV 3.5 RS Lift kit that originally retailed for $2250. The suspension has about 20,000 miles on it. There is some corrosion, especially on the geometry correction brackets (since road debris from the front wheels kick up onto them. If I were to keep this kit, I'd rattle can the...

AEV Geometry Correction Brackets for JK JKU Wrangler BNIB - Socal - $80

I have an extra set of brand new in the unopened box American Expedition Vehicles JK Geometry Correction Front Control Arm Drop Brackets. These work with all 2.5, 3.5 or 4.5-inch lift kits. Helps a lot with caster/pinion angle, brake dive and general handling. No picture because they're still in...

FS: AEV 2.5 XT Suspension Lift Kit for Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JK 4-door - Socal $600

FS: AEV 2.5XT Suspension lift for 4-door Jeep JK - SoCal - $650

This suspension has been on my JKUR for a little less than a year or about 10,000 miles, maybe less. Missing nothing. All of the parts are in very good condition. I washed everything after uninstalling. Everything is packed back in the boxes from my 3.5 lift kit. I could ship, but I'm sure...

"Bruce" the 2014 Jeep JKUR Build Thread

Running out of mods to do. I decided to go with a super bright low profile 3rd bake light on top of the mast so it would still work when using a trasharoo. I reused the oem wiring and changed the plug to Deutsch connectors. But I need a little more slack though. I just drilled out the rear...

"Bruce" the 2014 Jeep JKUR Build Thread

Just got back from a quick scouting trip to Baja to find some new secret mountain climbing routes. I must have the world's heaviest JKUR because it doesn't look too weird with stock sized tires and the 3.5" lift. Everything worked well. Although I discoverdd why the 3.5 Lift instructions suggest...

Just found out I have this week off also. Making some final adjustments and heading to Baja.

"Bruce" the 2014 Jeep JKUR Build Thread

Finally finished installing the AEV 3.5 SC lift on my 2014 JKUR. AEV's DIY install estimate of 10hrs was dead on. Also installed an AFE Y-pipe for drive shaft clearance. The 3.5" lift looks goofy with stock 32" tires, but less goofy than I expected. New tires are on the agenda for next month...

"Bruce" the 2014 Jeep JKUR Build Thread

I've been curious about Australian style swag tents. I found out that Kodiak Canvas sells one in the US. It happened to be on Amazon prime, so I ordered one to check it out, knowing I could send it back. It's very well made, similar to Kodiak's other tents. Set up is fairly fast, but dealing...

Got the Y pipe installed. I us to uninstall the EVO Protek transmission skid plate. The oil pan skid and crossmember skid seem like they should still work. I'll post pics after I clean them up a bit. The Y-Pipe moves the crossover to behind the crossmember and under the transfer case. Wondering...

Two year circumnaviagtion of Africa in my 2007 JKUR - The Road Chose Me

Makes total sense. I was just trying to think of bumpers that are lighter than the AEV but still air bag compliant.

Two year circumnaviagtion of Africa in my 2007 JKUR - The Road Chose Me

Just heavy for what it does. It seems unnecessary If he's mostly going to be on roads and not Boulder strewn trails. Even on trails, I end up using the scissor jack for everything other than getting wedged off large boulders. Hi lifts require two people to use safely, can't be left unattended...

Two year circumnaviagtion of Africa in my 2007 JKUR - The Road Chose Me

Congratulations on the build. And best of luck in Africa. Others replicating your build could probably get closer to your goal weight by swapping a few things. ARB Stubby or Mopar Rubicon X front and rear bumpers would save 150lbs or so over the AEV. Terra Flex Tire carrier hinge instead of AEV...

As I'm installing the Y-Pipe, I'm noticing that you might not seems a crossmember skidplate once the cross over pipe is moved behind the crossmember. Another possible benefit of the Y-pipe.

Finally got the tire carrier on. I bought it used and it was missing some hardware including bolt that adjusts the wheel-mount backspacing. Apparently Orchard Supplies 1/2-20 Grade-8 bolts aren't perfect. I had to run a tap over the bolt and through the tire carrier to make everything place...

OK4WD Daily Driver / Overland Rubicon

Both the Maximus3 and AEV rack use the same Rhino Rack platform. You can probably use Maxiums 3's ladder with the AEV rack.
