Snowy Range! Hadn't thought of that. That would knock a couple hours off our time on the Interstate each way. Looks beautiful, too. That sounds like a great option for us. Thanks for the tip!
Just bought a couple of the Side Kicks (uber-mini version of the Super Hero) for our 4 and 5 year-old boys. I love the Jackson boats, and they are a GREAT company to do business with.
Thanks for all the good suggestions! Time to start processing info! Hoping to head out later this week or early next week. I'll keep you posted on where we go.
Welcome to the world of whitewater! It's easy to become a junkie!
I'd HIGHLY recommend the Jackson Super Hero. It's similar to the Nomad, but has some outfitting goodies that are really great, like a cushy seat pad and an adjustable footrest/bulkhead that you can adjust while you're sitting in...
Nice! That is a sweet setup! We have a zip line and big-air rope swing (with harness) set up in our back yard. Our boys LOVE it! Here are some pics of Hank (our 3 year-old) on the zip line (he was 2 at the time):
The heat index in Nebraska is into the 100's, so it's time to get the hell out of Dodge and hit the high country. We'd like to cruise over to Colorado and spend a few days in the mountains of Colorado. We're well equipped 4x4 wise, but don't know Colorado very well. Can anybody out there...
Hannibal makes a nice, lightweight aluminum roof rack for the JK. Downside is that you've got to drill your hardtop to mount it. Doesn't tie into the roll bars at all, so you wouldn't have a rack if you took the top off. Here are some pics:
The Hannibal double jerry can holder works well with Scepter cans. The Hannibal comes with a cross-piece that mounts over the lids of non-scepter gas cans. This cross-piece is to prevent people from opening the lids on the gas cans to steal gas, and does not otherwise provide a tighter fit. This...
1.9M Hannibal Awning on D90
Hi there-
We've got a 1.9M Hannibal awning mounted on the side of our D90. The 1.5 is designed for the rear of the Hannibal rack. 1.9M fits just fine on the side.
Hey there-
We've got a rack that we've been using as a demo on a Land Cruiser 100 Series that we're selling. Normal price is $1600, and we're selling it for $1200. Please email or call if you're interested.
This rack is virtually brand new. Here are some pictures:
We've also got our...
Hey Brant-
Wish we would have known about your trip to Laramie a little earlier...definitely would have made the trip out there. Got other plans for the weekend now.
Got your phone message about suspension stuff. Will be pulling the trigger on that--just need to recover a bit after all the $$...
Yup...those awnings are awesome. The fabric of mine was fitting a little tight, so I went out and doused it with a hose for 30 minutes and couldn't get the damn thing wet! Nice looking setup, by the way. Now that the worst tick season on record is winding down, we're looking forward to getting...
Hey Tim-
Thanks for the note. I don't have any other pics of the tent rack that don't look exactly like the ones I posted! We're working on version 2 right now. When we get that done, I'll get some photos of it without a tent on it.
The rack comes with an aluminum rail that is bolted to the roof. The mounting uprights then slides into channels in this rail and are tightened down into place. The bed of the rack is then bolted onto these uprights. It's bomb-proof. Here are some up-close pics of the mounting system.
