"Buyer beware, everywhere." Personally, I've bought parts from Rock Auto several times, and always been satisfied. I even once had a problem with the part I received due to their web ordering system giving me the incorrect part number (Taco TRD Bilsteins)... a quick call to their cust svc...

Ditto and ditto. I was looking for a Prerunner before I got my Tacoma. The fuel economy difference is about 5% less for the 4WD vs Prerunner doublecab, a small cost for the convenience. If the OP already has a Prerunner, they can be converted to 4WD using stock parts if you have the wrenching...

She's a beaut. 88 or 89? Those are the best seats Toyota ever made, IMHO. I dig vent windows :-) Especially with the electric windows, nice. There are a lot of fans of the autotrans, mostly for offroad in lieu of crawler gears... they are a bit anemic other wise although reliable.... and...

To me, getting all the luxuries and new technologies and such are like scope creep on my original objective which was to get out there, see and live different for a while, and get "away from it all." Scope creep can be detrimental to a project, stressing the resources of time, costs, man hours...

I like the idea of one of these, but personally, I'm going to hold out for an aluminum or fiberglass one due to weight concerns. The steel models are really heavy... I think someone weighed theirs at around 3000 lbs empty!

As long as it isn't smashed in on the right side, that is a great price, about 1/2 of comparable ones that I've seen on CL in my area.
