Looking good, Adam. Nice pictures (as always).
A buddy of mine has the same LR cup holder up front in his LX450, but just found these 3D-printed units. Thought you might be interested - http://www.bh3dprinting.com/
The rear console unit has a small cubby underneath and a pen/flashlight...

A couple years ago one of my friends found a '97 LX450 with 150k-160k on it and it had obviously led the life of a pavement-only people-mover.
The front seats had some wear, but the truck was cherry with a complete Lexus service history.
It really opened my eyes up to the potential of all...
Nice truck, Grouper...
I've often thought ARB should have made their step-sliders with that forward side protection bar for the FJC. Nicely done.
Water would be easiest, but what do you want to do?..
Air, water, fuel... I think you guys have pretty much covered it. :iagree:
Take a hard look at your priorities. The most difficult and expensive to accomplish would probably be fuel, followed by pressurized air, and then water.
Strapping a...
I would think that you would want less resistance in a sway bar for a rough terrain vehicle unless that vehicle traveled primarily on hard packed/paved surfaces and heavily loaded.
For a vehicle where the intent is to travel on uneven, even washboard surfaces I believe that compensation with...
Enough about the chrome already. But I will say that...
Just do a black vinyl wrap on that GIANT chrome surround and leave the grille center. There's enough combined black/chrome accents between the bumpers and the mirrors that it will blend. You're probably going to replace the bumpers with...
In your environment I would seriously consider the battery with a longer replacement warranty, as well as being readily available nearby in case of the unexpected need for replacement.
The Diehard Platinum series aren't cheap compared to a generic brand or 'standard' wet-cell battery, but I...

Chinese-manufactured ARB knockoff from what I understand. There was some quality concerns in the beginning, but they seem to be holding up well for a few of the FJ Forum members -...
Wondering what suspension the OP is running on his truck? There's a reason why ARB's purpose-built 'touring' roof racks mount the tent to the rear, because their Old Man Emu 'Heavy' rear spring rates are rated to handle the load placed there.
For what it's worth, when I asked montypower and uscg2008 about their long-term experience with the Group 31M as a single battery (and possible charging issues), they said the following...
Let us know how it all works out!
I think I read somewhere that one of the FJC forum members got PIAA LP530s (LED/3.5"dia) to fit the ARB foglight location. Can't find a link though...
Not sure about finding an OE-style connector, but the gang at http://trdparts4u.toyotaofdallas.com/Scripts/default.asp will know.
And here's...
I'm sticking with the single battery as well. The OE Panasonic battery in my '08 FJC is starting to get a little sluggish finally. :coffeedrink:
I wish every battery lasted that long.
I had not heard that myself. I'd also like to hear how those single battery setups are working out after a year or more, and whether anyone has used an external charger for 'maintenance' because their alternator wasn't getting the job done.
I would think there would be a minimum charging...
I would feel remiss if I did not mention that another option would be something like the ArkPak with the same Group 31M battery inside it as a portable power source - https://www.arkportablepower.com/
That would give you a lot of flexibility with AC Outlets, 12VDC Outlets, USB Charging Ports...
YES. Unless you really have a need for the redundancy and options that come with having two separate batteries in your truck, I'd say go with the deep-cycle Group 31M as the only battery if you're looking for a stronger, more stable power source.
Check out this from montypower's build -...
Not sure if you're looking to add an additional battery and go with a dual battery setup, or just want a better power source to handle the load.
For the money (and simplicity of setup) I'd say pop a Sears Platinum Group 31M under the hood with the kit from Slee Off-Road.

Expedition One's Tundra, but with a 6ft bed conversion.
EDIT: I changed my mind. Same truck, but instead of the CrewMax I'd rather have the DoubleCab with 6ft bed. Would keep the overall truck shorter than...
With the Lift Mate or Bumper Lift accessory pieces from Hi-Lift you can lift from the wheel until you can put a jack stand (or safe alternative) underneath the axle to change a tire.
