    Yes those are odd. They are their own junction box, that’s the idea. There’s a very expensive tool that presses the wires into place. They’re rated for three sets of wires pressed in there, which gets real tricky. They’ve definitely caused me some stress. Since they function as their own...

    You only get about 5-10amps using the seven way. Also with the voltage drop you’re not giving the battery the charge voltage it wants. More amps and no voltage drop with a dc/dc.

    It’s not just about changing rpms. You get more torque in every gear. More gear reduction (bigger gears) get you more torque at lower output speed(higher input speed).
