Last year we did a three week camping trip in our JK and it did a great job with the stock Suspension and some Extras I added. Since then though I have upgraded to an AEV 3.5" Lift and 35s. I have to agree with others that it needs regard. Check out my sig for my build.

I didn't need any straps for my original application. The cage I build only had a few mm of clearance. I am adding strap hooks to my next revision.

I'm still messing around with the idea. I'm working on jigs to make the frame and looking at heavier duty slides. I'm even engineering a spring loaded release instead of the removable pin on the one I have. Do you think a 150lb slide would be enough? I thought of the Accuride locking slides...
