$200 for Gen 3 $100 for other wheels tires. Should fit most vehicles with 6x5.5 pattern. $50 for Gen 1.

OEM are +46 offset so about 5.5" backspace on 7" wide rim. No generic steelies will fit. They wont clear caliper bracket. Many many moons ago I've tried to fit 16" steelies/alloys from my Gen 2 to my Gen 3. Doesn't work. Your best bet is stock wheels.

Not much will fit. Generic 16" wont either. I've got set of 2002 20th anniversary wheels if interested.

You are very pessimistic on V6 rating or very optimistic on diesel For 2014 Grand Cherokee is rated 4WD mpg 20/28 for diesel and 17/25 V6. There is no reason to believe difference will not be similar in Wrangler. Hence it will never pay back in itself.

It's been many years since my visit but I found upper fork of Italian Creek Rd (shelf road part) far more "interesting" than Schofield Pass. I think I'd be ok taking Power Wagon over Schofield but Italian creek felt awfully tight even in Montero.
