Skillet if I had a rig that looked like that I would be postin pics all the time. That is inspiring.

    Future rig

I am looking at three different ones right now, but my fourth child ( third girl ) is due on Monday the 12th so I think I will wait a week or so before I start making offers. I am going to sell my 2005 Ford FX4 F150 to fund this project, so if anyone knows anybody? I will keep you all updated.

    Pay my respect

John Lee from Expedition Exchange has a spread on his Defender in 4Wheel Drive magazine. After my comments on an earlier post I feel only right in mentioning this. I still think his rig is pretty damn cool looking. Also there is a vintage Jeep with a killer little trailer.

    LC pics from ExPo members

Sorry if this has already been done but I was hoping some of the members would post pics of their LC's here in one thread. Remember I am soon to be a true member ( I hope to buy an LC soon ). So help me with some inspiration. Thanks. :safari-rig:

    Hello I am new also....

I do not hold anything against them at Expedition Exchange I still go to their site quite often, I am just pleasantly surprised at the great ans open attitude I find on this site. I am not a wealthy individual ( I am married with 4 kids..lol ) so I think a LC would better fit my wallet anyways...

    Personal survival kits

I was thinking since we all like the outdoors and like to go where others usually aren't we should remember that survival is a reality and something we should prepare ourselves for. So with that in mind I thought it would not be a bad idea for us to post our own ideas of a personal survival...

    Need advice on a F150

I am new to the board and came here because of my interest in FJ's but because of financial reasons and my wife expecting our 4th child in a few weeks I feel that my purchase of a Toyota may be pushed back a bit. Now I really want to start a project vehicle and I already have a 2005 F150 FX4...

    Hello I am new also....

First of all I want to say thank you to all that have posted in response to my initial question. I have been on another forum prior to coming here and experienced nothing but disdain and arrogance ( that is why I have changed my loyalties from Land Rover to Toyota ). The other site is...

    Hello I am new also....

No I haven't talked to Mike Slade, I do like that link though. I am just in the planning stage and was looking for a good lead vehicle as well as a couple of support vehicles ( to carry the tents, kitchen, and other niceties). After looking around I decided that Toyotas would would work as...

    Hello I am new also....

So based on what I have seen posted would you all recommend a FJ60/62 more than the FJ55? If so which one has the round headlights? I have seen the body styles with both round and rectangular headlights but would prefer the round ones. Also could I get an opinion on my expedition idea? I want...

    Hello I am new also....

I am planning a desert excursion business where I lead clients into the desert on specific trails and show them some interesting sites and provide a encampment complete with large luxury tents and gourmet meals. I wanted to use the FJ55 because of it's nostalgic look and safari type feel. I...

    Hello I am new also....

I am glad I found this sight since I am getting ready to make a LC purchase here in the next month or so. I am leaning towards the FJ55 simply because it is so ugly it is beautiful. I am also picking up at least two Toyota trucks for support vehicles to hold the wall tents and the coking...
