I removed the hatch and yes the tent canvas comes down -but that goes away when you deploy the tent and if you need to enter the accc without deploying the tent - you just need to tuck the tent material...

I agree 100% - The tailgate delete - barn door & gull-wing doors sold me on the accc right from the start. I ordered mine a month ago and as soon as I heard of the lock covers about 3 weeks ago I ordered a couple sets. I should be getting the accc at the end of January.

Thanks for all the replies. I originally posted this and a bunch of other inquiries about 2 months ago. I took all the advice given and ended up doing a 180 and ended up buying a 2013 Tacoma Access Cab and will be installing an Alu-Cab Canopy Camper to it next month.
