On my 87 RRC I ran bilstein yellow and blue, front, rear and damper, with OME medium duty springs. Shocks kept the ride somewhat complaint, while the springs gave a lift and tighter control/cornering. Will probably do the same in my 04 D2 when time comes. Dave

Incorrect on 04 DII SE7 Many came with coils, not EAS, or ACE, including mine. If you can find one, go for it. Dave

I'd fix the RRC, or buy the Disco and swap to the RRC as suggested. I miss, and regret selling, my 87 RRC - and always will. Then again, I am partial to the 87-89 vintage. Dave

04 Disco SE7 is my daily driver...ave about 13mpg round town and city.

What are you testing? Can't see anything up on the rack?

Get an 87 or 88 Range Rover Classic and never look back. Had an 87 RRC, 00 DII and, currently, an 04 DII. Looking for that early RRC to make my day again. Good luck. Dave

04 SE7s had a coil/shock option - mine is that. I am considering adjustable shocks in the rear, but may settle for OME mediums. Right now the cheapest potential solution is getting jerry can holders for the front of the rack for better weight distribution, and a big pelican case for spares...

I don't know...maybe the LR4, you think? It just got Petersen's 4Wheel & Off-Road 2011 4x4 of the year. People do actually use new land rovers off-road. If you are familiar with Rover Racks' inventory, there's a rack for that. Hope that answers your question.
