Find the offset that pushes your rim the furthest out. Not sure if that equals to -18 or so but if you go 0 offset, the rim will be tucked in at the rear and it will look funny.
Rims were available off the shelf. Since I have the Dana Super 60 (with larger rotors) I had to go with 18" Rims but I prefer smaller Rims if it's an option. Tires if I recall are 325/65R18 so a bit wider than other 35's.
I can confirm that I removed the spacers somewhere on the side of the highway while on a roadtrip in Wyoming... that was after I saw my rear wheel passing me while I quickly pulled over! I was extremely lucky my wheel didn't hit anyone! I managed to recover it, put it back with 1/2 the studs...
If interested, a good resource for info on these is www.delica.ca
They are great vans, I had the older L300 model and the suv version of the newer van (Pajero). With the L400 you have to be careful of hidden frame rust which is pretty typical with them but not always the case.

Do like I'm doing. Find a used ambo box (there's a few nice one for sale right now), build a sub-frame and mount it, voilà!

Wow, 15mpg is impressive!!! Especially when considering most similar sized expo trucks get closer to 8mpg.
I'm nit sure why people complain about your asking price. Yes it's not cheap but it looks to be in excellent condition, has fr/rr lockers, very low mileage, cool winch, and has been fully...
I've seen your truck when it first got listed on expeditionmeister.com, very nice work done on it! It caught my attention as it has the 8 lug pattern like mine, which is kind of hard to find here in Canada or the USA... I ended up having to build my own rims!
You say it will do 400 miles on a...
I've seen a few 4x4 6.0 with the original oil filter placement but those were leaf conversions. My concern is the flex on coils conversions which could hit the filter. I'm a bit surprised I haven't got a definitive answer here yet. I'm sure there's a few of those hanging out here ;)

This van belongs to a friend of mine here in Vancouver, BC. Pretty sweet and a real 4x4, not the AWD.
Converts to around $22,500usd

I'll have to look into those kits but if I recall they were crazy expensive.
I'm hoping someone could send me a picture of their setup...
But it will be a pain regardless. Looks like I'll need to remove the turbo to access the top lines to be able to remove, replace and/or modify...

Hi everyone
For those running a 4x4 E350 with the 6.0, do you have any oil filter clearance issues with your front driveshaft? Did you need to relocate the oil filter? I'm installing my front driveshaft and looks like might will clear but I'm not convinced it will once the suspension starts to...
Hi Bruce. Good content as usual!
Not sure if it could work, but have you looked into those 4 way electric actuators controllers? Their purpose is to ensure all 4 actuators are synchronized.
Something like this?

Sorry, never noticed your post until now.
The Hino's frame isn't as wide as the Ambo box frame so I will need to build a sub-frame with "wings" on the side to reach the ambo frame which came of a Freightliner of some sort. The ambo box is definitely overkilled when it comes to strength (much...
