I have considered this as well, I personally would have kept the bottom portion of the tire carrier to act as a slider, I have scraped mine already since the D15 already sticks pretty far back past the wheels and it's pretty easy to scrape that departure angle.
Please figure it out so I can copy you, haha. Would be really nice for leveling too and I've been in a few situations where I've had to stack rocks under a wheel to prevent scraping and airbags would have helped lean the trailer.
Yea I'm not exactly sure how durable they are compared to other types of batteries. I asked the vendor and they said alot of people are installing them in RVs without issues and having good sucess but they do recommend installing a vibration dampener to be safe. But they also said it's...

Just bit the bullet and ordered this today!!! They are on sale for 5% off, I payed $1,490 for 400ah lithium with BMS and 7000 deep discharge cycle life span (they claim 15-20yr)!! That comes out to $372 per 100 AH including...
Have you tested this out yet?? I am definitely wanting to copy if it works and I'm guessing it will. Can you also post pics of how you mounted your Jerry can and propane together? I was messing with it the other day but had the Jerry can close to the middle and propane on the outside so I'm...
Just realized I never posted how I hooked up my sink drains together so here it is. I got 2 of these RV drain taps to start with. Cut one drain hose in half for the shower sink then used the 3 way fitting and slid the smaller diameter hose into the larger.
Camco Flexible Camper Drain Tap...
We surprisingly loose alot of depth in our cabinets for the wire runs.
This sink is definitely max size it could handle and I like the sideways orientation to maintain maximal counter space. I did have to cut the supports front and rear for the counter top but the sink has pretty beefy metal...
So I did a thing yesterday.....I ordered a 17×19" sink without measuring a couple months ago because my caravan was at the dealership. Well I finally got it back and realized it was too big but I couldn't return to Amazon anymore and decided to make it work and think it turned out great. I...
Yea, the D15 has plenty of storage space so that's not a worry for me and I'm getting a sink with a wood cutting board so won't loose a ton of counter space overall. The outside sink ends up being pretty tall for my wife and kids and I like having a place to prep food inside away from bugs etc...
Has anyone installed an inside sink or fridge on the D15 ? I have a sink but was hoping someone could share a pic of how the water lines and drain was hooked up, guessing it's just shared with the bathroom drain but not sure what parts I need to buy.
Also if anyone knows what size fridge...
So I have done the shock upgrade and am still annoyed at the rocking my Dweller has, I think OBI needs to really figure out a fix for this as it can't just be written off as well that's the nature of these rigs.....Plenty of other inependent suspension trailers pull great without the bandaids we...
Haha, no not even close. Definitely missing my Utah cabin home!! Thanks, it's needing a new owner, making me jealous just sitting in the driveway. Who needs a holiday FJ?
Loaded rare 2007 TRD manual 6speed (awd) FJ cruiser on 35" tires. Has 163k miles and has been very well maintained, turnkey and ready to drive anywhere. Lowered to $23k!! Very attached and it's so fun to drive but don't use it nearly enough, we have 4 kids so all trips camping or offroading...
Maybe just squish some pool noodles in there when it's rainy ?. It seems to fix other things on the Dweller. You could even taper it down to drain off one end. I'm only halfway kidding and may actually work and not have to be permanent......
Does anyone have any leads on how I can purchase just the blue plastic handle on this leg? Maybe OBI would send me one of I can't source another. I don't see any name branding and the leg still functions, just needs a new handle.......
The slider bar in this situation did definitely help but...
