Strange Super Strong Tape Putty Stuff: Braeon

I just saw this (and had to order some.) It's a tape-like material that you can mold and shape and is super strong. Looks pretty useful. Will definitely keep a roll of it in my truck. I can think of a number of times when I could have used something like this. Videos - BRAEON...

I'm finished with my 80 Series Build!!!

Lightforce are ok. Not great. I don't use them that much, as I'm seldom driving offroad at night. (Probably why I haven't bothered to do an upgrade to them.)

I'm finished with my 80 Series Build!!!

Six year update: It's been almost 6 years since I finished my 80 Series build. This truck has been all over the Western states, off-road in deserts, ATV trails, and lots of highway miles. The biggest upgrade I have made to the truck in the last 6 years is that I finally got around to...

Can you start your car with your secondary battery (National Luna)

I've got a National Luna dual battery kit. If my main battery goes dead, is there a way of starting the truck using the secondary battery? I didn't see anything about this in the instructions, but it seems like something I should be able to do.

    Warmest Fabric/Insulator?

North Face claims its Thermoball insulation is the equivalent of 600 fill power down. 800 fill power is pretty much the industry standard for down, and 900+ is the upper end, so I think a more accurate statement would be that North Face's thermoball jackets are reputed to be about 70% as warm...

    RTT....its days may numbered

I've been using a Carbon Columbus for several years now. Super easy and fast to put up and take down. Comfortable, durable, weather proof. Much more convenient than trying to find a dry place to pitch a tent at night in the rain.
