Experts Please Help: Best Range Rover Years?

Midway through 1995 is when things got all wonky for Range Rovers. If you are looking for reliability (in the Land Rover sense of the word, which is "you can repair it easily by yourself on the side of the road"), then in my opinion that would be a 1995 Classic.

Win a brand new On-Board Air Tank!

Uh, yes. So? Umm, ok. Thank you...? I don't think anyone is disrespecting anyone here. They are just trying to explain a fair way to do this so that everyone can be warm and fuzzy with the idea. What's wrong with that?

wanted a Disco found a Range Rover

EAS - Yank it for coils and sell the EAS parts on eBay to recover some of those costs. HVAC - If you are lucky, it's just a burnt #7 relay. If you aren't, then it's bad blend motors. (Though people have found good shortcuts to replacing those. The original repair time estimates were around 10...

About to take the plunge - 2001 Range Rover

Wow, I'm late to the party. I don't have much to add that Jack hasn't covered. SteveMFR, you'll probably remember me as the moderator of the P38 forum on rangerovers.net for several years under the name skippy3k. I know you were there for awhile. I was a huge P38 fan, and there are even posts...

    battery advice needed

When looking at the DieHard Platinum, consider the auto battery as opposed to the marine battery. They both have the same specs, but the warranty on the auto battery is much better...plus the battery is much less expensive. I guess they figure that the marine battery will just be sitting in a boat.

    SnowPeak chairs

I will attest to the comfort and quality of the Kermit chair. I got one for myself and now my wife wants one. They are truly well made and will probably be the last camp chair I ever buy. If it lasts 10 years (which I am sure it will) that works out to 12 dollars a year. Small price to pay for...

My obsessive search for the "right" backpack

Thanks for the advice. I'm really amazed that Kakadu would make such a great product, but never actually try it on. Or maybe the company is run by people of smaller stature. I am 6' and 175 pounds, and I do not see how this backpack can fit anyone that size. That being said, I still recommend...

My obsessive search for the "right" backpack

Thanks for the responses. I never really thought about modifying it. I pulled it back out of the package and am looking at ways to lengthen the straps without making it look like I did. Boy, those Sandstorm bags sure are nice....

My obsessive search for the "right" backpack

I am looking for a backpack, but not one that makes me look like I am about to summit Everest. Or one that makes me look like I am late for a Computer Science class. I purchased one of these from Kakadu Imports. Which was perfect...almost. The quality is outstanding and the capacity was...

    Land Rover National Rally: Montrose

That looks like Frank Cerrone's D90, from Cerrone's European out of Redwood City, Ca. It's hard to read the door, but the truck looks familiar. It's always interesting to peruse an internet forum and stumble across an familiar truck! Scott
