Well I was able to make some more progress on the bumper and got the tire carrier mounted up. I still need to add some gussets (overkill) but for the most part its done. I also wheeled the the truck for the first time with the new rear bumper in the Ouchita National Forrest over the week and it...

So TRUE! It's also a lot of fun being able to build it yourself. Sitting thinking and then thinking some more to make sure everything that you cut or weld will actually function. I have had several people ask me where I bought the bumper from and nothing beats telling them that I built it...

Thanks, Don't worry the Pedo bear will not be covered up by the tire. The tire is actually going to mount on the same side as the hi-lift, working on that and hopefully finishing that up tomorrow. The passenger side will also have a swing out that will house dual Jerry cans, or a cooler mount...

The pictures that you posted are down atm, but I am excited to see what they are because the cable is just temporary. I should have left the rear mounting plate a little longer to be able to use a lock through the hi-lift hole and the bracket. Thanks for the ideas I am always open for others...
