*obligatory "stock truck with popup camper" photo...
Shenanigans I get into after driving my truck 14 hours from home. It was me, a SWB '93 Ranger and three 19-23 Rangers.

F-150 sat that trip out... but it sits out pretty much all...
It is awesome. Either to sleep in or to play pack mule alongside my wife's Bronco. You can get a lot of gear in a 7' bed with a topper... you can't get many butts in the standard cab tho.
My dd is a 6.5' bed crew cab F-150, it is extremely clumsy by comparison.
I ran them on my last truck, I'd give them a solid C for snow.
I was dragging the old BFG's out of the barn when they started slipping belts. When the third one went I went to Falken AT3's and never looked back. Much better in snow, they were still on the truck when I sold it... and I put...
That is very interesting. I don't know if I can make that work on my rig but it is neat to see somebody tried to figure some other way to crack that nut before fuel injection.
+1
A modern fullsize turns into a whale pretty quick on some trails.
Fullsizes struggle overseas. Being the odd truck out they don't run in everyone else's wheel tracks and their tires suffer for it.
I would be thrilled with a OE liftgate that doesn't look goofy.
We can have a bazillion cupholders, steps that pop out of everywhere and 500hp half tons... still gotta hee man crap into the ever higher bed load floor.
Nobody really makes anything I would really run out and buy if I did have the money to go buy a new one.
The catch22 is... a lot of the replacement parts for my old junk are not made in the US either. 😒
More for us, continued absences will result in having to speak with school officials or law enforcement.
Meanwhile we worked on colors, numbers, telling time, cardinal directions and reading maps/gps among other things while travelling...
When I worked at a dealer most of the people that were wanting to delete were wanting to delete for the same reason people wanted to delete air suspensions... they were sick of expensive drama and wanted a reliable vehicle.
The derate to 5mph BS because of DEF issues won over a lot of hearts...
Most aftermarket EFI systems use parts for OE injection systems. I was looking at ACE throttle body setups the other day on the 'tube. They straight up say use this part number for an injector and this number for a TPS and this one for a O2 etc. Seemed GM based.
Of course if the ECM goes...
I have a fairly thick phenolic spacer, a edelbeock will not tolerate being too close to the intake. Fuel boils out of the bowls when you shut it off and floods it very quick without a spacer.
I have heard stories about the vv carbs (mainly horror stories), I really ought to check into them if...
On that note I did find this which is interesting.

Kind of reminds me of the metering system my original feedback carb had to adjust the mixture.
But with modern parts rather than a bunch of 40yo obsolete stuff that barely worked when new.
And if anything goes...
