Toyota Landcruiser 4x4 Diesel Dual Cab Pickup Truck w/ 7k Miles

Wowzas! Pretty awesome build. Good work! Reminds me of the one that South to North Landcruisers is building up in Idaho. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Anyone Running Powerbrake X-line Big Brake Kit on a 4th Gen 4runner?

No experience with them, but they look very nice. If you've got the money for them why not. Does your use really necessitate it though? Or would your money be better spent on a GX460/5th Gen setup? Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Show us your Toyota 4runner, tacoma or truck.

Yeah a pair of square lights would probably look better than 1x2's I guess. maybe underneath the winch tray? It looks like there would be some good spots for small lights like that, maybe even mounted vertically though that might not work depending on the beam pattern. I think ditch lights work...

    Generation-One Tundra Front Brakes

I haven't done it myself but I would be willing to bet no for most 16's. Maybe if you run wheel spacers. When doing bigger tundra brakes on a 3rd Gen 4runner you need 17's, and when doing gx460/5th Gen brakes on a 4th Gen/gx470 (I have done this one) you also need 17's. I know some people have...

    Toyota Losing it's Mojo?

I would say the 4.7 V8 has just as many common issues as the 5.7 [emoji2373] cracked/leaking exhaust manifolds, leaking valve covers, timing belt/water pump every 90k miles (not really an issue but an inconvenience compared to a timing chain ) secondary air injection system issues on vvti...

2017 Tacoma. Kick in the gut

Holy cow. What a nightmare. I'd look at what you could get for it trading it in. I'm surprised that Toyota never issued a recall if it's that common of a known problem on the early models. Is it an exhaust routing issue like the old 3.0 3vze had? Too much heat causing HG failures in one specific...

Bumper Recommendation for 2012 GX460 with rear damage.

Victory makes nice stuff from what I've seen. Metaltech is another I believe. You'll probably get more engagement over in the GX section on mud if you're not there already. https://forum.ih8mud.com/forums/gx460-prado150.271/ Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Bumper Recommendation for 2012 GX460 with rear damage.

If you can weld, or know somebody who does, coastal off-road has a WIY kit. No personal experience with it, but I pretty much only hear good things about their products. https://www.coastaloffroad.com/product-page/gx460-low-profile-rear-bumper-kit/ Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Sequoia Gen 1: 2001-2004 vs 2005-2007 for Overlanding

Other than the 4th Gen 4runner with the V8 and GX470. All years of those have the 5 speed, including the 03-04 non-vvti motors. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Toyota Sequoia Purchase for Overlanding: 1st Gen vs 2nd Gen?

I'll occasionally see one in the low 20's, but most early model stock 200's I see going for around 24k-30k in my area. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
